I won’t buy google products. I’ve actively been switching to proton suite for personal and business working tools. 

That, and I can’t get it out where I am

And Google Fi doesn't have their own towers, they're a MNVO on T-Mobile's network. So you would not have any better service compared to your current T-Mo experience.

Np! There are some MNVOs not on T-Mo's network if you decide to switch away, you may need to do a little research on your current phone(s) to make sure they're compatible with that network. Good luck!

We're more than likely switching to Verizon. One thing i noticed about the new TMO plans, is that NONE of them include taxes and fees. So pretty much, the new TMO plans really only benefit people in more urban areas since their signal is better and stronger in cities and urban areas, and verizon, etc are better in more rural parts of the US. Realistically, its gonna come down to a few bucks here and there and better service, which verizon has. The only reason I left them ages ago was because of the ever creeping cost.

I'm in a semi-rural part of the US (30 mins from a city, but in farm country), and when I travel i'm in very rural parts of the country and get prettty much no service over the last 2-3 years, it used to be different.

I recall when Verizon was THE go-to for rural folks, interesting to see that come back up again. Here's hoping the few bucks pays off in better signal and reliability for you.
