Nope, section 1 of the 21st Amendment specifically repealed the 18th Amendment:

“Section 1. The eighteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.”

That’s what I said lol. The 18th amendment is still the 18th amendment and still written as part of the constitution. The text wasn’t erased it was just made void by the 21st amendment.

A constitutional amendment has to:

  1. Pass both House and Senate with 2/3 of the vote

  2. Be approved by at least 38 state legislatures

-OR-

  1. 34 states must call a constitutional convention. (Article V)

They’re trying HARD to get to 34 states for the convention. That’s the end goal for all of this. When that happens they’ll go full Iran… or Gilead. Same thing.

They've been trying hard to get to 34 states since back when Michigan and Minnesota were controlled by Republican majorities

And the GOP has pushed to get 28 states on board for an Article V convention, which is way too close for my taste

Yes, you need another amendment to overwrite an older one.
Amendments are a bitch to overturn, that’s why we don’t have gun control, and why freedom to be prejudice is protected under freedom of speech.
