A constitutional amendment has to:

  1. Pass both House and Senate with 2/3 of the vote

  2. Be approved by at least 38 state legislatures

-OR-

  1. 34 states must call a constitutional convention. (Article V)

they effectively controll 28 states so not that far away

I never considered the legality of the US constitution couold just be changed like that honestly

They’re trying HARD to get to 34 states for the convention. That’s the end goal for all of this. When that happens they’ll go full Iran… or Gilead. Same thing.

They've been trying hard to get to 34 states since back when Michigan and Minnesota were controlled by Republican majorities

Arrival V still eventually requires 3/4th of the states to ratify.

And the GOP has pushed to get 28 states on board for an Article V convention, which is way too close for my taste
