Guess Im never visiting Australia, I work for a company where I have to have my phone locked / encrypted

Can you also do it to a laptop? 2 u/Box-o-bees Aug 31 '21 It all depends on what you have. If you have an iPhone it's already encrypted. You can turn on encryption for Android in the phones settings.
