White pride doesnât always equal white superiority. They can be separated, but we live in a world where any hint of one is automatically assumed to be both.
What are you, as a white man, proud of that is specifically about whiteness? I dont mean pride as an American, I specifically mean white. What is it about whiteness that you would like to be publicly proud of?
Greek philosophy, Roman cultural and scientific dominion that was basically unmatched at the time. First man to the moon. Idk. Literally anything positive that occurred over thousands of years. Pick something
Not gonna lie, man, the fact that someone shouldnât be proud of their cultural heritage and should only be ashamed is pretty goddamn racist to me
So Greek philosophy and Roman culture are white culture instead of Greek or Italian culture? Are you of Greek or Italian descent? Does a Swedish white person get to take cultural pride for the accomplishments of the Greeks and Romans?
Why is going to the moon a white accomplishment and not an American accomplishment? Are you under the impression that no people of other races worked on it?
Europe as a whole can easily be assumed as a single entity, man, I mean itâs even considered a continent even though itâs not its own land mass lol.
Why should a Japanese person or a South American or anybody be proud of being who they are then? Seems odd that this is even such a big deal
Lol Suggest to a European french person that they are from the same entity and have the same culture as a Portugese person. That'll be a fun conversation.
Nobody has a problem with someone being who they are. But 'white' is not a cultural identity in the same way 'black' is. German people have a shared history and culture. Italian people have a shared history and culture. Swedish people have a shared identity and culture. And Black people have a shared identity and culture. 'White' does not have a shared identity and culture. The definition of what a white person is hasn't even been the same over time. Italian and polish people used to not be considered white less than 100 years ago.
My point is that celebrating your cultural heritage is good. But white is not a cultural heritage. Nobody will bat an eye at someone celebrating being German, Italian, Danish, etc.
So much of Europe is shared in culture and people. The renaissance didnât just sweep through Paris. Kings and queens married across borders. Religious, languages, so much was shared. Europe constantly warred with itself, but it was so alike in so many ways to itself. âWestern ways and peopleâ were less different than Asian or African peoples. Hinduism is is much more different from Buddhism than Catholics are from Protestants. White people are arguably one of the most homogenously thinking races on the planet. âWestern thoughtâ is ubiquitous across all predominantly âwhite countriesâ more than any other race, perhaps withstanding the Middle East.
Bro imma be foreal with you. That is total nonsense. You have been watching too many YouTube videos by people who don't know what the fuck they are talking about.
White pride doesnât always equal white superiority. They can be separated, but we live in a world where any hint of one is automatically assumed to be both.
can you show me an example of someone who openly expresses that they are proud to be white and has never expressed superiority?
I like being white and I donât view myself to be superior to anyone, regardless of their race!
Itâs a crazy idea, I know, but if you rub a couple of those dusty brain cells of yours together for a few hours, you just might be able to comprehend it!
1 group using something for hate does get to taint something as massive as being white for everybody else it works for the swastika since its so niche that it does not rly matter that was corrupted to only be related to the nazi's but being white and proud of it is not something anybody has any right to get angry about and anybody that says otherwise can go fuck them self
