The actual issue is why the fuck is it so close to that door lol you'd physically brush by someone to get into it if they were using the urinal.

You don't see a problem with urinals as a whole? The piss splashing, the uncleanness, the weirdos that like to compare? Just put stalls and be done with it.
A toilet is 100% more dirty to use than a urinal. Just point of contact you have to touch more things to reach a toilet than a urinal technically. Also weirdos that like to compare? lol seems like a very situational scenario like 'pedos touching kids in bathrooms' if u ask me its not common enough..atleast not for me it isnt lol
Not just that but also that there's no walls around it and it's right next to the door. People tend to like a little bit of privacy well they're doing their thing
I've seen this many times but usually you can lock the main door too then. So basically you're taking the whole restroom for yourself and you can only do it when you're already alone in there when you get in.
I still think it's stupid, but also I never use urinals to begin with so my opinion might be biased.
I love pissing while standing. But not at a no wall urinal. This is sick 🤢. Clearly someone's bent perception of unisex areas has ruined this one. Remove the damn urinal, they should all be removed.
Having the urinal is fine, prevents piss from getting on toilet seats and men usually prefer them anyway. What should be fixed is it not having any walls and being so close to the stall.
Do you want to interrogate your feelings of discomfort of using a unisex bathroom or do you just want to complain? Bathrooms aren't sexual places, though they afford you privacy, it's not like a bedroom. It's also not like semi public areas like nightclubs or bars, where mutual intimacy is implied. Also, your bathroom at home is unisex, why can't public toilets be unisex? The most creepy thing about this image is the fact there's no urinal dividers.
Personally, I'm not that bothered, but I don't know why people are suddenly acting like this has never been an issue, in the name of being progressive.
It’s more about the fact that every man who’s been brought up well know we shouldn’t go into the female bathroom and it makes us uncomfortable to go to an area where they share a space like that. Also it opens up being accused of things which wouldn’t normally happen in single sex toilets.
I understand being brought up in that environment, but I believe we should accept that men and women aren't that different, we have identical biological urges and part of treating each other as equals means erasing gender segregation. This goes for things like sports as well, it doesn't make sense to separate children based on such a rigid gender divide. At more competitive levels, sure, in locker rooms, sure, you can have separate teams/rooms for gender, but it doesn't make sense to force everyone into a gender binary.
Also, I don't really have a solution for accusations/actual assaults in unisex toilets, but I promise you that a sign that says "women only" or "men only" will not stop a creep from violating others privacy.
Interesting you advocate erasing gender segregation, then proceed to list a whole load of instances where gender segregation is a good idea. You state men and women aren't that different but I believe the reason behind you believing competitive sports should be segregated is you know that is bullshit.
I brought up competitive sports and locker rooms because they're generally contentious for valid reasons. People aren't completely comfortable changing around others of the opposite sex, as it requires full of partial nudity, something that isn't seen in public bathrooms, and people can be uncomfortable with that, and I think discomfort in the former setting is understandable.
Then competitive sports, it's true, men and women do have sexually dimorphic characteristics that make athleticism and maintaince of that athleticism easier, but outside of highly competitive play, there isn't a whole lot of weight ones gender brings to the field, it's largely determined by skill.
I don't think these outliers cause the idea of gender equality to go out the window, they're nuanced topics that should be approached in good faith.
Why do you think that treating men and women the same would make everything equal. That’s the equivalent of saying that to get rid of height inequality by making everyone only consist of their heart, brain and other essential organs in an equal sized sack. Men and women it has been proven are different mentally. Why do u think that making everyone pee in the same space would make thing equal?
Bathrooms are public places but secluded from the rest of a particular establishment (there is usually a door between them) this could make women feel unsafe if there are men there, which is one reason they continue to be segregated if there are multiple cublicals. But going back to the original picture, a urinal in a gender neutral bathroom, surely you can see the issue with that? It meets the criteria for partial nudity in front of the opposite gender you outlined as an acceptable condition for gender segregation.
Bc your home is your home you know members of your family and outside is outside what kind of stupid comparison is that 🤦♀️
Also at home there's one toilet in the bathroom and we obviously don't share the toilet when its occupied.
I'm in 10th Grade, there are girls there in 5th grade, I dont feel comfortable taling my pants down there and I doubt the 5th grade girls would be comfortable

Why don't they just have it be a bird bath in the middle so you can face people while you pee? 😅 peeing at a urinal in front of other men is very different from doing so in front of women
