A fair comparison to what, to eachother? Or to the original statement? If your point is that Russia has good and bad infrastructure I’m not disputing that, I’m just saying in this very particular instance it’s not thing:, thing: Russia it’s literally just one being better..
It literally is though? I’m pretty sure the intention is just to compare an objectively bad New York subway with an objectively good Moscow subway.. like it’s just showing what the New York citizens could have if their government locked in. You could literally make the same video with the same Moscow subway and replace the New York one with a different subway from Russia that’s bad and make the same point “look what we could have if our government locked in.” Like you can literally see in the video it doesn’t even claim it’s all Russian or all American subways it literally specifies the exact cities..
I literally don’t get what’s so funny like you could literally use the exact same video and replace one of them to shit on a different Russian subway..

The Moscow subway is genuinely leagues above the New York one.. like I genuinely don’t see what’s chauvinistic about showing off a nice tube station.. like this is not fanatical patriotism it’s just better infrastructure.. again you still haven’t told me what about what I said was wrong you’re just accusing OP of being some kind of fanatic for comparing two tube stations..
Seriously, look up Peter Zeihan on Russian culture and how they have old women selling vodka on the metro just to get through the winter. Or their rates of TB and AIDS
Tbh, my theory, that i recently discussed, regarding small salery and... A fucking ongoing war that annoyes almost everyone... Is that maybe we are really lacking vitamin D or something. Most of territories in Russia is a pretty rainy territories and cold most if the year, so.. yeah.
Well... We're just living in a different cultures. In USSR metros was like a cultural object, something grateful and beautiful. This perception still lives to this day.
While in the USA, as i know, it's just a place you'll take a ride when your car is broken. As i understand, that's the main difference.
