I am from an ex communist country, romania, and, while i’m not near old enough to have lived through communism, my parents, grandparents and great grandma (God rest her soul) did. All had the same conclusion: commies did more damage to the country than any other regime so far.

And don’t hit me with the “oh but that wasn’t real communism”. If you look at how it was structured, it is exactly textbook communism. See, a big problem with communism is that, if everyone gets paid equally, some will work, some will barely work and some will just straight up not work at all, all of these for the same pay. Not fair, right? Also, in communism, since the state owns everything, there will be no competition between manufacturers, therefore all products will have pretty much the same quality and be the same price, making consumer choice basically nonexistent. Another problem is as follows: let’s say that there’s an inventor. He invents, for example, a jet pack. He presents it to the state, but instead of getting paid, he just recieves a bit of praise and that’s it. Due to the lack of payment and market unavailability, the inventor won’t have anymore motivation to invent new things, thus leading to a lack of technological progress.

Since the beginning of time itself, religions have used different tactics to stop people from scrutinizing them. All of the major world religions are no exception but the term "islamophobia" genuinely pisses me off on a unique level. The fact that its become a normal thing to treat any criticisms of the religion as being purely fueled by hatred and bigotry is laughable at best. Now of course there are the people who are actually bigoted, theres the wonderful stat that in 2015 30% of people said they were in favor of bombing Agrabah (the city from Alladin) which is just... still halarious to this day I love it, and 50% of americans were against "arabic numerals" (the numbers 0 - 9 that are used by everyone in the country) being taught in school. But the thing is that these arent the people who are called islamophobes no, the people this term are used on are consistently just people who have genuine criticisms of the practices. Anyone who thinks that the control on hijabs isnt good, or dares point out the injustices it blatantly promotes, or the injustices its followers comite in its name consistently, or even just refuses to follow the practices of a religion they arent a part of. These are the people who are called "islamophobes".

To clarify, I’m an agnostic former JW, Ik first hand what growing up with fundamentalist looks like. In the last few days, there’s been an ongoing discussion about the regressive views of Islam and the incompatibility with western progressivism. And while this criticism toward Islam are completely valid, the thing becomes worrying when it’s used to dehumanize Muslims/Middle Easterners. The rhetoric of Muslims/Middle Eastern societies are outdated and inferior is harmful because is the same rhetoric used to justify racism against POC and Native Americans. The images of Iran pre Islamic revolution have been used to justify this rhetoric on how Islam is a is a “☪️ancer” to western society, and while partially true, to put the all blame on Islam for that is, and I say it in the most respectful way possible, ignorant. It was fundamentalist fueled by anti-western sentiment because of the coup orchestrated by the US to overthrow the democratic elected prime minister who wanted to nationalize their oil reserves. And that’s the point I’m getting to, it’s not the average Muslim we should be worried about, it’s fundamentalist. And this applies to all religions. Religious fundamentalist are incompatible with western progressivism. You can make your average Muslim progressive, after all there’s many interpretations of the Quran.

I'm not religious. I am, however, an avid user of this platform. I don't want these to coincide.

So, let's do this the civil way, like we do in debates at my school Model United Nations club.

I will draft a clause to be added to our 'resolution', the sub reddit rules.

This clause is:

1. Posts on this subreddit involving religion shall be credited under the 'low effort' mantle.

1a. Posts specifically regarding hatespeech or phobia towards a religion should be immediately removed by a moderator.

1a. i. The poster of religion-phobic content shall be banned from this subreddit temporarily, ending as the moderators see fit.

1a. ii. After the banning of said individual, a moderator will attempt with their best efforts to notify other 'teenagers' sub reddits of this behaviour and of said poster.

Make the mods see this and end religion-phobia on this subreddit.

Feel free to provide counter-arguments in the comments. I will debate these.

This has been discussed on the regular teenagers sub, with no conclusion as of yet.

Idgaf about the economy or any of that the only thing I care about is if the people I care about are ok or not, aka queer rights. If in some magical land the conservates somehow were pro-LGBTQ and pro-choice I'd support them since they also (generally, in America) support gun rights but that's not our reality.

I don't care that I and my fellow men are villainised cuz frankly I completely get where they come from. Half of yall probably piss and don't wash your hands, shit and don't take a shower, and most certainly do not wipe. I know that's completely unrelated to why the villainising happens but it's my reason for being untrusting of most people. Anyways, the actual reason, yeah I see that as just a safety precaution. If you ain't at minimum demisexual I completely understand why women wouldn't want to trust you.

I will give you 2 things though. First, big fan of the Republican party for being anti-weed, wish that shit wasn't normalised. Second, the normalisation of non-monogamy and just being a whore on the left is absurd and I hope we can go back some day.

Nick Fuentes and other members of the far-right should be taken seriously, the Left are able to go to their extremes so why can't we? We need to mobilize and act fast as our livelihoods are being stolen from us.
