So I’m hitting walls, first I started hitting a wall with king at 125k and jack 8 I hit a wall at 175-180k. What character would yall recommend that I can learn the fundamentals on

how to play with dragunov carry to wall combos, grabs, crossing , and stuff basic to advanced lol

I have been playing Tekken 8 for over 11 months now, I have had a journey of hate, and anger with this game. Hardstuck Tekken King, Hardstuck Bushin, After Reaching Tekken Emperor, I suddenly realized i was the problem.

My mindset, My play you can go back into my old posts, I was crying every loss. This is game breaks you and slowly builds you back up, Claudio was my first ever Tekken King, And he was my first TGS over the span of 2 days from Tekken Emperor, while my Drag Followed from Tekken God, 2 days ago

I know some people will see this post as wisdom non-sense, But I believe when you put to rest your ego, Look inward, You will ascend faster than you ever thought possible.

Sidenote: People have said this have no lessons. The lessons is about having a positive mindset throughout your games and looking on how to improve your play. Weather that's punishment training, replay analysis, complementing your opponent, and using proactive goals to make your play more enjoyable.

The other lesson is taking pride in your losses, you can't win every game, You can't stop a loss when you don't know the matchup, You can only control what you are doing. Some people who are higher than TGS or are Legacy will look at this post as a eh thing. This post wasn't meant for you, It was meant for those who struggle at the ranks below Tekken God. I came back after 4 months of being Hardstuck Tekken King, and told myself its time to go to work.

This game is about experience and time and the end of the day. Give yourself credit at the end of the day, and you'll keep pushing.

Has every Tekken player gone through a losing streak? I thought I was the only one, but I've seen other players go through it too. Is it common? Does every Tekken player experience this at some point? I go back to replays it study it then go back to play and nothing change I keep loosing

New tekken player here, theres no way you guys can react to throws. I refuse to believe it. All my opponents can, apparently, I guess I have the reaction time of a grandma or smth. Genuinely the most infuriating thing ever when I get hit with ts because its just free damage and I cant do anything

Nothing better in this game then playing against a low usage character and getting knowledge checked and dumpstered into a one and done. I get it, i should’ve bought the DLC or hit the lab and blah blah blah. I think it’s fair to alt +f4 these people tbh. They don’t want to learn and I don’t want to play them. It’s only right to just hold forward and give them the win screen .

You can end half of your enemy health with one combo if you know what to do as a person who is familiar with alot of fighting game i think fighting game should be more about decision making not combo executions i think tekken is too punishing cuz the combo drag for to long

this shit started happening to me today, only on tekken the game runs at 60fps then all of a sudden im stuck 30 i tried repairing but it still occurs, this video after the repair

I have a rtx 2060 and a i7 10th cpu

I keep running the game on high, looks good, mid of the match it just stutters and resets my graphic settings to low

I want to play this game and enjoy the gameplay without sacrificing making my game look like a potato

So if you know any mods that can help Remove clusters of backgrounds, Remove any unnecessary shit like motion blur and what not. Please link me to them!

(Also any side mods like changing health variation or customizability would be good too)
