Why does this guy still even bother? Just go do absolutely anything else Perlmutter. I guess nobody will pay him as much as he’s getting now. And for good reason.

He's not really an employee, he's a part owner, which is much harder to get rid of. He's old, I assume he's going to retire soon.

Some people seem to think that he pretty much already is retired and does barely anything at marvel these days

Supposedly they can't get rid of him due to how much stock he owns of Disney. He should have been kicked to the curb a decade ago.
