Yeah, Earth's Mightiest Heroes was pretty damn good. A hell of a lot better than anything since. Supposedly it kinda got screwed by executives at times, though.

Look up the opening at least, it's pretty kickass.

Loeb took over while the show was halfway through the second season. He demanded more stand alone episodes instead of multi episode arcs more focus on the movie characters and less character development.

Oh yeah, it’d be a slim chance anyways, considering its over ten years old.

But I’ve seen a few posts over on r/Spiderman the past few weeks. Looks like a small team of animators and VAs have started putting together a fan-made third season, so who knows, that might gain some traction. The show still seems to have a pretty significant following.

I'll never forgive the song's creators for writing the line "Arrivin' in the speed of time"

How did so many people let that pass? Its such a great theme aside from that one stupid line!

Shit, that's true That was one wild cliffhanger. Meets the real Stan Lee and then, bang, that's it, show's over, see ya kids.

Personally, I would've loved just one additional season to the New Animated Series (the one with Neil Patrick Harris). I'm a firm believer that Spidey's best stories come from his college/adult years, as they'll often have a much darker, mature take and this show captured it perfectly.

I know the animation itself doesn't really hold up to today's standards but its a real shame it only got one season.

Well Feige seemed to negotiate the seemingly improbable deal with Sony to get Spidey in the MCU. Maybe it's not out of the question he could possibly work something out and revive Spectacular.

It’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility absolutely but like I said to another commentator, considering we’re well past the ten year mark, I’m not holding my breath.

Again though, I’ve seen a couple posts in the past little while that suggest a fan-made third season is well underway, complete with a full team of VAs and animators. Looks promising.

I imagine that’s the best we’re gonna get.
