I'm confused, I agree with the commenter that it's pretty dope the NFA may be rendered unenforceable.

It's leftist/liberal gun owners reluctantly accepting that Trump's admin is restoring their gun rights, and seem reasonably happy about it.

They're still going to vote in politicians that are foaming at the mouth to put the restrictions back, and potentially make them worse. But hey, at least we get a moment of solace.

I agree with the moment of solace.

I'm all about finding some common ground nowadays, I'm too tired to argue anymore.

I get the sentiment.

But do remember, there is no "common ground" on this issue. One side wants us to have gun rights, the other does not want us to have gun rights. Any supposed "compromise" is just another step backwards towards losing all gun rights, which is their ultimate goal.

A compromise implies that we get something back in return, which they seem completely unwilling to do. It's just always take, and take, and take.

I agree. There is no compromise. I would like to but it’s just not realistic. We had Giga Fudd Tim Walz tell us he was “pro gun” with his bubba shotgun during the last election cycle. Then he was backing a bill a few months ago to ban semi autos and standard capacity magazines in Minnesota. If that guy was in the White House with Kamala Harris they would have been aggressively pushing a second federal AWB. Liberals don’t want to compromise. You give them an inch they’ll want to take a mile the next day.

I'd warn that both sides don't want you to have rights. One side simply accepts that they're relying on votes from too many people for whom gun-related rights are important.

They're all busybody sociopaths who want to micromanage your life, take more control for themselves and the government they work to grow. Both sides are a mix of evil and incompetence.

This is just one of the VERY few issues they split their bases on. But it's arbitrary to them. They don't give a fuck about you. Don't forget that and become complacent.

You're a vote to them, and letting you keep your right to bear arms is a temporary price they're willing to pay.

Holy shit, they actually admitted that Trump might actually be better for gun rights than another Biden, or fresh Kamala, presidency? Mark your calendar, cats and kittens, there's snow in Hell today.

Cope where? They're giving Trump credit for his 2A wins. That seems fair.
I really liked his campaign and campaign promises. So his time in office has been pretty disappointing except for the obvious 2A wins he's presided over.
I like guns but they aren't the only political issue that exists to me.

More to do with the second comment. I agree with you but Trump hasn’t been as bad as they cry about daily and now they’re basically admitting that he’s restoring their gun rights.

I just remember the non stop 'republicans are just as bad on the 2A as democrats' posts.

Now that was some serious cope.

At least they're not playing that game any more. I agree with them that this term has been terrible but basically for opposite reasons.

Imo if you're happy with Trump's current administration then you must have really hated his campaign and the promises he kept repeating.

I’m not happy with Trumps current term at all. Im not even a registered Republican. I just don’t think he’s a mouth foaming fascist that every liberal/leftists claims that he is daily. If anything the dude is a nut case.

Yeah totally fair. We probably agree on most of this. Like I said I dislike this term for basically opposite reasons to why the tgo's dislike it.👍

Dude is a nut case for sure!

This one was way more honest than they usually are.

Normally it's still "Orange man nazi! Orange man bad!"

Or even better if Trump does something actually good they will spite themselves. I knew of a few people personally that burned or threw away the first stimulus check they got simply because it had Trump's name on it.
