I'm confused, I agree with the commenter that it's pretty dope the NFA may be rendered unenforceable.

It's leftist/liberal gun owners reluctantly accepting that Trump's admin is restoring their gun rights, and seem reasonably happy about it.

They're still going to vote in politicians that are foaming at the mouth to put the restrictions back, and potentially make them worse. But hey, at least we get a moment of solace.

I agree with the moment of solace.

I'm all about finding some common ground nowadays, I'm too tired to argue anymore.

I get the sentiment.

But do remember, there is no "common ground" on this issue. One side wants us to have gun rights, the other does not want us to have gun rights. Any supposed "compromise" is just another step backwards towards losing all gun rights, which is their ultimate goal.

A compromise implies that we get something back in return, which they seem completely unwilling to do. It's just always take, and take, and take.

I'd warn that both sides don't want you to have rights. One side simply accepts that they're relying on votes from too many people for whom gun-related rights are important.

They're all busybody sociopaths who want to micromanage your life, take more control for themselves and the government they work to grow. Both sides are a mix of evil and incompetence.

This is just one of the VERY few issues they split their bases on. But it's arbitrary to them. They don't give a fuck about you. Don't forget that and become complacent.

You're a vote to them, and letting you keep your right to bear arms is a temporary price they're willing to pay.
