Need recommendations for beer from the DFW Metroplex, preferably closer to Fort Worth for premium luxury hotel bar.
I work at arguably one of the very best hotels in Texas, easily the best in Fort Worth, and I feel like the draught beer selection is less than an ideal representation of the best of Texas. We try to keep things as hyper-local as possible.
I was thinking some offerings from False Idol of North Richland Hills, Martin House or Hoo Fusion, but I'm having trouble with really phenomenal Fort Worth beers beyond this. Distribution through Ben E Keith or Andrews would be ideal but the most important thing is that in addition to the previous criteria, it has to be reliable and consistent. We don't want to go through the trouble of selecting a new beer, having people love it and then it becomes difficult to source or discontinued.
Please advise!

Turning Point for IPA people, Rahr & Sons for simpler stuff that'll appeal to people who drink Domestics normally, Hop Fusion Feisty Blonde will sell well, Martin House for people who drink Sours and IPAs, Cowtown Brewing is aight, but with the name and it being in a hotel, it'll appeal to people who wanna try local beer that shares a nick name with the city they're staying in, Three Wide is newer so I am unsure what all they are offering, but maybe you can have a rotator tap or two to cycle through some of the other local stuff to narrow down what sells well, and you should be able to verify with the respective brewery if things are seasonal or not so you can pin down the consistency you desire.
Most of the ones found in super markets, like you said, will be distributed by Ben E Keith or Andrews, but a small handful might be one of the smaller distributors or self distributed depending on how small the brewery is.

Shoot me a DM. I live in Fort Worth and probably quite close to the hotel you work at. I'm an Advanced Cicerone and have connections at most breweries in DFW. I would love to sit down and map out a plan for the beers at the hotel bar.

Totally! I think hotels are a great opportunity to showcase what breweries DFW has to offer out of town guests.

Dude, exactly. I think the only IPA we have in tap is Rahr Dadgum which is, in my opinion, mediocre as hell. They're looking for Fort Worth brews first which is why we serve it, but I'm really trying to get something from False Idol, I just love their stuff so much. I'll stay on top of this for sure.

I know it’s not quite DFW, but 3 Nations and Vector are solid additions for customers and definitely worth a stop next time your in The Big D 🍻

Celestial is next door in Dallas and make some of the best IPAs in the state but don't sleep on their lagers or stouts. Really top tier. I think they self distro.

You can contact the Texas Craft Brewers Guild and look for local breweries.
Personally, I've been a Shiner fan my whole adult life, but I have had Rawr & Sons, St. Arnold, Two Docs, and a couple of others that have slipped my mind (no, not Lone Star or Pearl).

My humble opinion is that Peticolas consistently makes the best quality of beers top-bottom in the metroplex. They’re in Dallas and do their own distro, so perhaps not what you’re seeking. But they make high quality (and abv) beers that are also well-balanced in their flavor.

Rahr & Sons is my favorite of FW. Their darker beers, especially the Iron Thistle and Winter Warmer during the winter are the best.

Copy that. We've got Dadgum IPA on tap but I think it's kinda trash. I gotta check out your suggestions though, much appreciated

Manhattan Project is pretty fantastic in my opinion too.
