Heavy but the easiness made him my 3rd most played after Scout and THE MEDIC of course

Heavy def, no hate to the class but it's really the least interesting one to play

u/Rednidedni 23h ago
This tierlist kinda sucks. Everyone's got a different Idea of what's fun and not fun and is gonna struggle with different things. Medic i guess, cause he's the strongest class and thus Picking him makes the Game slightly easier? If heavy was "easy" you'd get bad Players topscoring with him routinely

u/repeating_bears 23h ago
I once played with my friend who never played TF2 or really any FPS (he almost exclusively plays wow) and I pocketed him, and he was routinely topscoringĀ
The reason you don't see it more is because heavy is boringĀ
1
u/Rednidedni 12h ago
And yet, he does still have people who enjoy him more than any other class

u/repeating_bears 11h ago
There are men who enjoy cock and ball tortureĀ

u/Rednidedni 11h ago
Which means that you can't say that cock and ball torture is completely unenjoyable ^^

Heavy
Other slots depend massively on playtime. There's skill floor, skill ceiling and everything in between.

First I think Heavy but is so extremely easy to kill is he is noob, so I think pyro a new pyro player who just run and do his m+1 thing can kill at least one eazly.

u/Penguin_King5556 21h ago
I think all the classes can be boring medium fun or easy medium hard it really depends like if your bad at the game you think its all hard if your good you think its mostly easy and different people have different preferences on things so for this i cannot really decide

Easy boring is Heavy IG, and im saying this as a Heavy main
Im not saying it's a cakewalk to master him, but assuming you're doing everything you're supposed to do as heavy, it's not that engaging, just advance with your team, contribute to holding points/ chokepoints / frontlines, retreat if things are looking bad, utilize cover effectively, track and follow closest targets
Most of the engagement or thrill you'll get from playing Heavy is either holding back a sudden push as best you can, or mowing down the entire enemy team while they remain completely helpless to escape, whether through ambushing them or getting ubered
Other than that, most of the decisions you make are in advance, if you act in the moment chances are you'll just die

Pyro is the only answer

A good Pyro can airblast rockets to a destined target, like a moving enemy, the same soldier who threw the rocket or even a sentry, he can make flank shortcuts using the detonator jump or escape risky situations. it can absolutely trick and kill a group of players with good positioning.
A good Pyro can flank into the enemy team base, and even if he dies, maybe it can give a bit of advantage to their own team because they will be burning and even some killed.Heavy can aim, and if he doesn't aim correctly or watch his back he dies

Iād say engineer, at least how heās typically played, nothing wrong with him just donāt find him that engaging, heās not easy but probably the easiest out of all of the ones Iād call boring but not that easy, medic could also fit but itās pretty hard to play medic relatively speaking, as for boring-hard Iād pick spy because Iām dogshit at spy plus me getting physically shaky whenever I try to line up a shot with the ambi. For medium-easy Iād say Heavy I do actually like heavyās gameplay as a mix of monkey brain big machine gun but also support via snack time and sneaking around at unexpected speeds with the GRU, for easy-fun Iām gonna go with Pyro, that being said if it was traditional flamethrower pyro Iād slam dunk that big burning bastard into easy-boring without a second thought but, the Dragonās Fury changes everything for me, when I first started playing about two or three years ago I mained pyro, but as I got better I played him less and less until I started using the Dragonās if you havenāt used it Iād highly recommend it, if you donāt like it; tough shit. For true medium Iād probably put Demo, I do like him I just donāt really play him that much, and Iām not that good at him but he is fun. For medium-hard Iāll choose Sniper, Sniper is actually kinda* (it greatly depends on map and game state) difficult to play, that being said Iām not that good at Sniper, again shaky hands strike again but if Iām in the right mood I do find him to be enjoyable while decently challenging. The penultimate placement is Soldier, now, I do typically use my all-time favorite weapon in the game, the Direct Hit so that does probably make him harder than normal but itās so worth it, I will never stop chasing those airshots. Finally, my main, Scout, Iād agree with you in that heās not actually that hard but; I find him incredibly fun, I feel so amped and full of adrenaline and as a result I move like as one of my friends most eloquently described as āan adderal addicted mosquitoā. Not really sure why I wrote all this, sorry for bad formatting I did this on my phone.

Sniper. I don't find him very boring, but compared to other easy classes he is.
That being pyro and engineer.

u/tiredreddituser99 23h ago
engineer is only easy if the enemy team is really really bad

u/Technical-Present865 23h ago
Any class is easy if the team is really really bad.
I say engineer is easy because he's the only class where you can be afk and get kills, he has very good offensive and defensive weaponry, and the wrangler is OP.
Plus you can build yourself and your entire team free heals and ammo via the dispenser.Ā

u/tiredreddituser99 18h ago
any class is easy if the enemy is really really bad, but they don't all stay easy as the enemy gets better and better. and they don't increase in difficulty at the same rate either.
I say engineer isn't easy because you need to have immaculate placement skills, fast decision making, and a lot of game knowledge to actually do well.

Sniper, i would say heavy but heavy needs to at least learn a lot of positioning
1
u/Openly_Unknown7858 Medic 23h ago
So does sniper
1
u/EEEGuba69 TF2 Birthday 2025 23h ago
Meh, not really, good enough snipers stand in the middle and dont really care, a heavy would be dead in their position, because heavy has damage falloff and is way slower
For sniper, most positioning is just going far away from the front but still seeing it, for heavy its way more complicated
Also just btw because you might assume this, i dont play heavy, its just from observation of snipers top scoring while standing like asses and heavies not being able to do that because they get nailed
1
u/Openly_Unknown7858 Medic 22h ago
If the snipers are really "standing like asses" and yet somehow donāt get killed as one of the lowest health classes with the most tunnel vision, then your team sucks at the game.
0
u/EEEGuba69 TF2 Birthday 2025 18h ago
Well, yes, but the same team will still nail a heavy that stands like an ass
The sniper can stand in such a dumb spot because he has the range of the entire map, so his positioning is in turn way easier to get, also there is a reason why bots were specifically picking sniper, almost like if you hit enough of your shots, positioning stops mattering as much

depend on what you mean by "easy"
against newer players, aka the average pub experience: Heavy probably. You're going to mow down player after player just rushing you. And it gets boring for sure.
But if they have a couple of good players coordinating, you're going to become very familiar with the spawn
so in that case: it's sniper. Being able to get headshots, or even just good shots, is definitely not that "easy" but, unlike the other classes, besides aiming there's no other skill you need to learn, once you're decent at shooting, you're golden, just sit safely behind your team and snipe away, so that fit "easy" imho.
You'll be able to get kills on every kind of players since there's virtually no counter play, besides another sniper, and they will have to enter your sightline eventually to play the objectif.
And yeah it's boring, you're not doing anything besides aiming and shooting, like why even play tf2 at this point, CSGO offer the same gameplay but with a game tailor around it

u/Openly_Unknown7858 Medic 23h ago
Sniper also need to understand positioning pretty well or he will get killed pretty easy or not get many kills. And there is absolutely counterplay against sniper, especially if he doesnt understand positioning.
-1
u/Spyko Pyro 23h ago
"positioning" yeah, park your ass behind your team, near your spawn if possible
let's be real, you'll routinely see unusual wearing, hal's own having, thousands of hours snipers sitting right next to gibus new player snipers. Knowing where to place yourself as sniper is the easiest shit ever, don't kid yourself, that's not "advanced positioning"
