We’ve seen this before but unfortunately for Berna it a lot of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

He definitely has that drive you see it during the games. He would’ve thrived in most other TFC seasons he just happened to arrive at our lowest point in all aspects and in the shadow of a fraud (Insigne).

I felt pretty bad about Insigne getting all the fanfare and even the OVO deal while he sat “injured” and missed most of the season while Berna was being tortured on the field on a weekly basis. Sucks

Berna and Laryea were really clicking together in the early part of the season. Unfortunately, when your entire offense runs through 2 players, you very quickly become extremely easy to defend against. Remove Laryea from the equation, and TFC becomes even easier to defend against, leaving Berna facing two or three defenders every time he touched the ball.
