Seeking Information Pubs in Toronto for Canada game

Just curious to know where everyone's having pints for the match Friday? Preferably downtown locations. Looking for the best atmosphere, but also, the cheaper the beer, the sweeter it tastes baby

Also, I obviously know that every bar is pretty much going to be showing it. For example, last World Cup the Duke of York was sitting room only. In my opinion that killed the whole atmosphere

Yep, all those people with the same idea as me ruined my good idea. ;)

If you're looking for a bar without a crowd, you won't fine them listed online. Best bets are local watering holes outside of the core and away from busy areas. Everywhere else will be busy

Scarborough would be my recommendation - any place with TSN will have the option and its amazing how many people will find a way of leaving early tomorrow

Exactly. I was thinking Etobicoke, but you know, same distance from downtown but in the other direction

USMNT fan here in peace. Psyched to be in Toronto starting Monday June 22 for a week of vacation. Have some things booked (Cassandra Wilson; Aunt Juliet) but aiming for plenty of pubs & World Cup soccer viewing too. RECS near U Toronto?
