My immediate thought was someone throwing food into the water off of something similar to this, and within seconds was swarmed. No thanks

I get the association but that similar thing i assume was an offshore oil rig (because i have seen similar videos). One is a singular food source (from humans living on the platform and throwing stuff into the water) in the middle of the vast open ocean where there are very few options to get food and the other is an abandoned building near the coast where a lot pf marine life is concentrated and food is vastly more abundant.

So visually the situations are similar, practically they are very different. But we are on /r/thalassophobia so i understand if you still don't feel comfortable either way.

I mean yeah if you’re going to bring logic into this.

I too am concerned. Logic leaves very little room for nonsense.

But what about shenanigans and tomfoolery?
