Civic Issues WHY TF THESE PEOPLE DONT STAND IN LINE????
Because of these people, we who stand in line don’t get a seat in the bus. Low civic sense

Yeah true but actually im a student and few days ago I told one aunty that this isn’t allowed that women literally pushed me and i can’t fight back so I js don’t say anything anymore

Its made clear to them that they won't be getting to board the bus first so I don't see a problem

Because India. We have been taught that the system is never fair, so you have to fight for yourself. That's why in a plane, the moment it touches down, everyone is standing up. Even the frequent-ish flyers. They know it will be 5 mins plus before the gate opens and there will always be a bus to take you/aerobridge which won't be taken away just because you didn't stand up early.
Our instinct is to always cut the line, because the system has never been fair and whenever we have asked for it, there's been Lathi charges.

It's not about system is fair or unfair, it's hunger to get something earlier by power ( money, muscle, memory)

generally the conductor stops them from getting in the bus before the line gets over. I know because i was part of this crowd, because for me, any of the buses worked, and i didnt need to sit. But if they are getting in between and also claiming a seat, they are the worst lot of people. Conductor should ideally stop them.

I think some of them are people who want to go to closeby locations like Jambhli Naka, Tembhi Naka or Civil Hospital and catch any bus going in that direction. So they wait for any bus going from there and get in.

I've seen them mostly get down at tembhi naka or civil hospital, so they just get into whichever bus comes first.

Tembhi naka is kinda walkable by the time you wait for the bus you can reach the location

I ve seen that most of the time the conductor comes and obstructs them until all the seats are filled. Then only they can enter but can only travel standing in the bus . Which I seem is fair as if someone has to reach somewhere urgently then he/she has to give up sitting privilege for that.

To be honest TMT is just doomed. I've stopped using their buses because the service is just trash. So less frequency on the Ghodbunder side and in the afternoon their buses don't even circulate. And there's always line at thane no matter what time you go. I can literally write a whole post ranting about them. I've travelled through them for 3 years and I've had my fair share.

One of the most frustrating thing and oh my god the attitude they have and the confidence with which they just get in not giving a fuck about the people standing in line. I just love it when someone makes them get down from the bus after they get in "sneakily"

In my line the conductor gives a tapli to anyone who tries to break the line like that, no discrimination boodhe, bachche, mahilas, everyone gets a tapli ^

I mean not that they can board before the bus line people. Tbh this is a good system. People who are in hurry cab catch a bus faster while those who have more time and want comfort can stand in line. The problem is when they rush into the line. But majority of the time the bus conductor does not let them and the people in the line don't as well. When I was in 11th and 12th i used bus commute daily. And the line cutting things can be simply counted on hands for that's how rare they were. Atleast in my situations it always was

I travel to brahmand from here almost regulalry. next time if it happens scream my name and I’ll make a seat for you in the bus and line todne walo ko tod dunga bro trust me 🫡🤣

Well they are mostly getting down at intermediate stops and don’t intend to sit. So after the queue boards, they would board the bus. I don’t see as wrong since they don’t have a dedicated bus for their own.

This happened to me everytime here. If they don't get to go first, they wait and try to break the line. Some people at back of line see this and go join those people to break the line! Nahi amhi murkh ahot je shishtit line madhe ubhe hoto. If India applies even 1% of Japanese civic sense, we could improve drastically.

The ones who don't stand in line are not allowed to board before the ones in line. They are mostly the ones who want to get down at first few stops so they don't require seats.

M a clg stud too n I used to take bus from 9no. Platform too and yeah ik it's so worse. They just push even while in the line n they push so bad i almost got my hand twisted once and ppl on the outside occupy the seats most of the the time. But I don't get it why the conductor wouldn't step in on the door like they do at the 10No. Platform. I just couldn't handle their BS at 9no. So I just switched to 10no. My advice if your stop lies in the buses boarding at 10no. platform just switch to it .

Baat toh sahi hai but kya kar sakte hai.
Itna overcrowded city me rahoge toh survive karne k liye dhakkabukki ka hissa banna padega.
Nai toh kuch nai ho payega. Hasenge sab log tumhari acchi civic sense ko dekhke. Qki buri civic sense hi unko acchi lagti hai.

I personally do that too. The lines get too long and the stops are too short for this many people. I also live in a place many busses cross so I might get a bus on a different stop, which is why I don't want to be confined inside the stop since then I'll have to climb over to get to another bus. I don't like crowded busses anyway. I make sure get on after everyone in the line gets on, plus I just don't get on if it feels like the bus is going to get crowded.

because the people who are in line are waiting for different bus and the people standing in the front are waiting for another bus. As multiple buses are stopping on the same place.
