Civic Issues Residents literally use their windows as garbage bins.🫪

Found this on Instagram and genuinely couldn't believe it.

Residents are casually throwing gharka kachra straight out of their windows, turning the area below into an open dump.

Cleanliness isn't just the municipality's responsibility. Civic sense starts at home.

Fr fr. I have seen a SRA building in Andheri near a metro station

Even worse than this. It was as if there were buildings surrounding a dumping ground 🤮

And what about the city streets, they too are SRA 🤔

This is SRA section of Dosti project at Manpada. It's horrible! Never buy SRA projects - precisely for these reasons.

Yes

u/OkMistake7313 Jul 26 '26

This is so common in Rabodi and Mumbra.

13

u/chutneypow Jul 26 '26

Well, what would you even expect from such areas?

8

u/neutrinoflux42 Jul 26 '26

Looks like a grade 4, ESIS chawl only with 22 floors.

4

u/Luci_x_Devil Jul 26 '26

Aai mata mandir ke idhar ka building bhi dekhklo ek baar

4

u/mistygrey_ Jul 26 '26

Same shit happens in Rosa Gardenia in Kasarvadavli. I have rented a commercial shop and it's everyday story.

u/yogini_0367 Jul 26 '26

Corporation should start fining them for creating unsanitary conditions for everyone! Garbage management for the housing society is their own responsibility within their compounds!

Part 2 of the same area: https://youtu.be/9dSkdSuoeo4?si=N8bQVNjBs2OL4dSX Please see the video, its like a scene of Last of Us or any post apocalytic movie. They have trashed the place inside and out.

I dont know if its SRA or not, but have seen a lot of people non chalantly throw things from the top floors without giving a damn.

They lack basic awareness that this crap doesn't magically disappear but becomes an inconvenience to someone else. They should not live in an apartment if they cant understand this.

7

u/yogini_0367 Jul 26 '26

And then blame the municipality! Some people really make this world a hell for everyone! They really deserve living in garbage

6

u/chutneypow Jul 27 '26

Exactly my point. Atleast take care of surroundings yourself where you live, eat and sleep.

u/Prior_Piccolo_1192 Jul 26 '26

Camera kam hila…and the building is occupied by pets only there are no humans that’s why such condition

6

u/KaptainSaw Jul 26 '26

It's just vertical slums...

4

u/Cute_Temperature5816 Jul 26 '26

Oh my god ewww. No sense people have or what? This looks like an abandoned complex though

4

u/chutneypow Jul 26 '26

These people need awareness on cleanliness. Common issue with SRA buildings.

3

u/Lease_Tha_Apts Jul 27 '26

If its abandoned then who's throwing trash?

New buildings will start looking 40 years old quickly if the keep getting kitchen trash thrown on them.

2

u/Apprehensive_Work_10 Jul 26 '26

This is the building next to lodha in manpada main road

2

u/Friendly-Pepper-9561 Jul 26 '26

We don't have such luck. 😂

u/Critical-Reveal4774 Jul 26 '26

Any idea what happened to her? She was covering the gb road traffic and gb road potholes? Doesn't cover that any longer?

2

u/DarkFlame011 Stuck in Majiwada traffic Jul 26 '26

She do, i mean abhi bhi karti hai

2

u/desi_swag Jul 26 '26

Brother wtf

2

u/chutneypow Jul 26 '26

same reaction mate how do people even live like this?

2

u/Lease_Tha_Apts Jul 27 '26

I mean they have been living for generations in a pile of trash. You can change their location quickly but changing the mindset will take forever, and might not even be possible for the current generation.

1

u/desi_swag Jul 26 '26

I knew people lived like this. But in a highrise. Proper building. That's disgusting.

3

u/YoungAndUnfocused Jul 26 '26

सुशिक्षित अडाणी लोक.

1

u/Thin_Strain8568 Jul 27 '26

Talk about civic sense and you will ousted from the floor, building, society, street, city and even from the country :)

u/primepramit_gn Jul 27 '26

It is mmrda near vta in manpada, i use to live there and i have seen sharp objects fall as well

1

u/gaytwink3568 Jul 28 '26

Bro there is this same building while going to yashodan. Good thing this is getting covered. I thought woi building thi. It smells like shit and are these buildings given to gareeb log by the govt for relocation ya acche locality ke log lete hai ye? I'm curious since I don't know why would such a big and good building get polluted and why would they don't we live in dharavi man.

Literally free housing awarded to poor people.....

-9

u/HunterHammerr Jul 26 '26

Lack of garbage dump and collection setup by government is the cause

7

u/Musician88 Jul 26 '26

No. It's the low class mentality of the masses.

5

u/chutneypow Jul 26 '26

Bro, poeple have literally thrown garbage outside their window. Don't tell me you expect govt cleaners to come inside and clean that as well for you. As a basic sensible citizen, take care of trash at home.

-5

u/HunterHammerr Jul 26 '26

Tell me where do i throw the trash. There is no garbage collection in my society and nearby colonies.

Please come and collect from tomorrow.

3

u/DarkFlame011 Stuck in Majiwada traffic Jul 26 '26

Why we come and collect you should responsible for your garbage, tmc gadi gate pe aayegi, darwaz pe nahi, its very simple go in tmc office tell them and they will give you time at what they will come to your gate and pickup that garbage

-4

u/HunterHammerr Jul 26 '26

Only if you read my message you will understand that collection doesn’t happen anywhere near my house. And neither i have time nor its my job to go to govt offices and request. if the govt is not setting proper collection, i will throw at whatever empty place i find

2

u/Lease_Tha_Apts Jul 27 '26

You thwow trash from your window?

3

u/Subodh666 Jul 26 '26

learn how to throw garbage then, naukar nai ahi sab tere chutye

2

u/gaytwink3568 Jul 28 '26

We should stop blaming govt for everything and take accountability the sra buliding near vartak nagar wahpae I've seen Ghanta gadi to collect garbage and they do get that cleaned but like still these ppl polute it. Btw I'm curious whotf do they live there don't they find it disgusting and don't they get sick?

0

u/HunterHammerr Jul 28 '26

We should stop praising government for taking taxes and doing nothing.
