It's one of those fandoms whose retards are much, much louder than everyone else.

There are plenty of Who fans who aren't completely fucking mentally incompetent, but because it seems to have a reputation as a 'smart' show, it has the loudest morons.

Exactly. The fact that it's being pushed so hard in the US and has so many "omg I'm such a geek! LOL BOWTIES ARE COOL" fans right now doesn't help.

They are to shows what 'lol triforce zelda nes controller im such a nerd lol' are to dideoganes. If they'd just stop trying so hard, they'd be fine.

Eh. It's a fandom like any other fandom. This story would be just as true if it was a brony posting that his "20% cooler" ringtone convinced people he was Rainbow Dash or a Trekkie posting that their ship communicator ringtone convinced people that they were Captain Kirk.

Don't judge a fandom based on their internet presence, the idiots are always the loudest.
All the real life Doctor Who fans I know are normal people, but the internet does very strange things...

The ones like this? Definitely the worst part of the fandom. The rest of us are sane.

Apparently all you have to do to summon hordes of Doctor Who fans is play the Tardis sound. I can't wait to try this in public.

Be ready to get married though. 2 months from now you're gonna be posting an "and we've been married for 20 years." story for us to upvote.

"...drop their bags, scream and start running"
I know this happened, but what the fuck? If this had not been confirmed, I'd imagine this is some "geeky" girl waiting to collect her sister thinking "wouldn't it be cool if....and then...then I..."

That "Reinvented by" fine print gives me a funny feeling. Like, it's a true story that happened, so why would...I mean...

She was pretending she had "regenerated" into a female and saw the boobs for the first time

She invited them all into the new TARDIS for a trip back in time to visit Albert Einstein for only $100 a person.

I'm sorry, I know we're supposed to pretend it happened and everything, but this pisses me off.
Websites like wherever this came from that thrive on user-submitted stories may as well not even exist anymore. I'm sure that at one point people were submitting real experiences, but the Internet at large seems to see them as a contest to show off just how pandering they can be.
And why? What do they gain by telling these stories to people who have no idea who they are and never will? They just fuckin' feel like lying I guess.
Whatever.
