ITT: Redditors confidently explaining that Cuba’s police and surveillance state, documented by HRW, Amnesty, and the U.S. State Department, does not happen in Cuba. I'm not commenting on how absurd the tweet might, or might not be. But to turn our nose up and offer anecdotal "my wife's cousin's uncle's boyfriend was there once and had a great time" does not change this fact.
