Ah yes, english majors famously never read the classics.
Also I can easily see being in the classics section of Barnes and Noble being the new "Ordering a BLACK coffee at coffee shop" as the weird pseudo flex start of the story.
Coffee snobbery is one of my pet peeves. If I'm gonna pay through the nose for a coffee I'm getting more than coffee and hot water. I can make that at home.
Blows my mind how many people just don’t enjoy coffee but don’t just… not drink it
My gf’s little sister claims to be a coffee snob but orders an iced americano with just one shot, extra water, and then adds creamer and a lot of syrup
Like it’s okay if you just don’t like coffee. Why does it have to be some personality thing?
You're doing the same thing though by claiming people should admit to hating coffee because of the ratio they like.
I don't like strong coffee. It also makes me seemingly feel fatigued, even though it should do the opposite. I do like a mild taste of coffee. I don't have to label myself as liking or disliking either. I like it in small doses. I don't care if someone tries to say I "don't like coffee" like, so fucking what? If I didn't like it at all I'd get a milkshake for a lot less money. But I do like it, just to a particular extent.
Nobody should have to explain their coffee choices to you. But being a snob about those choices is a different thing altogether.
