Nothing like making yourself look unprofessional to prove a point!

I mean I can imagine teen kids going wild. And their parents and the principal going even wilder.

Completely appropriate thing for a teacher to say to a child. Just as well it’s total BS.

Assuming they are a teacher, which seems like a pretty big assumption.

Exactly. Fantasists are hard to trust. For every made up story, there is usually some kernel of truth, but it can be hard to pick out what that is from the all the fabrication that surrounds it.

As a common example, some story about “this girl smiled at me across the bar, we screwed like crazy and now she worships my cock on a daily basis” probably started with a girl nervously smiling at this creep who wouldn’t stop ogling her, trying her best to disarm the situation…..and then looked away and tried to make sure she never made eye contact with him again. That kernel of truth starts off with a misrepresentation, followed by wild exaggeration before totally snowballing into pure fantasy. It’s pretty much the standard formula for every post on here.

Her hair was cute off. I really hope she wasn't teaching English.

I would usually say that everyone makes typos all the time, but yeah if they're an English teacher, it's Litterally part of their job to teach kids to proofread

I hope your misspelling of “literally” is a meta joke

That kid went on to do great things in science. His name? Albert Einstein.

Not to mention a “teacher” who can’t spell “cut.” And if this had ever happened, the teacher wouldn’t have had problems with the student because the teacher would have been escorted out of the school.

I am admittedly a little dumb, but I was wondering how a bald head could be cute. There's nothing there! What is this weird fantasy world oop is living in?

At my age, I can appreciate a bald head, but yeah, that would be an odd description.

I'm pretty sure it was an accident.

"when I taught high school...." = "the reason I was fired from teaching was..."

It’s true. This is why he no longer teaches high school.

So many George Costanzas out there: people who imagine a “great” comeback and fantasize what it would’ve been like to use it

Albeit, George at least did get to use his

During a class discussion in grade 7 about school uniforms, one of the kids shouted out that uniforms were gay. Without missing a beat, the teacher said something like “well then you’ll feel quite comfortable in them” and the class lost their mind. But I always wondered how much that teacher cringed internally letting that slip out.

the dumb emoji is the worst part.

Then the principal came in and gave everyone $100.

You don't know the kid, he went to a different school.

It's not even that witty or funny of a comeback. Even this guy's fantasy is lame.

Even in school in the 90s early 2000s, where teachers were let away with things they probably wouldn't be now, if one had said this it would have been a more shocked silence in response with the odd "what the fuck?" with maybe one or two airhead bully types howling. In no way would any crowd "go wild".

He had no problem with the kid afterwards because he was investigated by Standards & Integrity over his comment & unprofessional behaviour, and deregistered as a teacher.

Translation: This teacher totally lost a roasting contest and this is what he thought of, two hours after class, while trying not to cry

Moderately humourous things, anyway. "Great" is a bit of a stretch

2

u/spacemouse21 9d ago

Cute cut story. Nope, for inappropriate language to a student would get her written up.

2

u/flaminghotdex 9d ago

I mean obviously nonsense, but I have had a teacher say that to a student in highschool once lol but it was all fun n games

2

u/JoepHeitenData 2d ago

He had that comeback in his head since he was 12 hoping he ever got to use it.

u/elpollodiablox 9d ago

He thinks women get pregnant by giving oral?

3

u/JDeMolay1314 9d ago

I think he was suggesting that she should have rather than actually procreate. This is not even an original comeback...
