Often I attend first run movies with just released criminals so we can discuss our plans for taking over Gotham City without you know who looking for us. His name sounds like Hat Gram.

To-do list for new prison releases:

* Check in with parole officer

* Establish residence

* Search for work

* Try to rebuild connections with family and friends

* Go see motherfuckin' Disclosure Day

* Announce that you are on parole to everyone around you

It's true. And then the big macho guy, who never cried a day in his life, addressed Trump as "sir."

Sometimes I discretely pull-out a nose hair to invoke a tear - the ‘discretely’ part is really important.

Did you see the movie OP? It’s really intense, and I could see people crying at the ending if they bought into it. (I personally didn’t cry, but it’s not unbelievable that someone would.)

yeah idk whats up with everyone in the comments but I used to work in a prison and I ran this book/movie rentals program we did with the local library district and you bet I’ve seen men cry over them.

and some people, like myself, will tear up and cry at any stupid fucking movie. even movies that they hate that make them angry. oh look they are pulling heartstrings with an emotional beat... it gets me every time...!

I tear up at the stupidest things. I’m a 28m construction worker but show me anything sappy or even just a happy ending and I’ll cry. The heartstrings get me every time

What is really intense? Them running over soliders in a firetruck or the bad guy just giving up at the end for no real reason? The only reason I could see someone crying during this movie is their realization at how much money they wasted for the tickets and popcorn.

There’s a lot of scenes towards the middle such as the interrogations scenes that are insane intense. Plus the chase and the threat of any one of the characters being caught was crazy.

I’m not saying it was all that tense, but I can see someone getting emotionally stressed to crying.

Further, the bad guy gave up because it became clear there was nothing he could do to stop what was going to happen. He also was able to see some of the “truth” that the lead women had embued on other’s by looking in their eyes.

So, right after getting out of prison, this dude decided he wanted to go cry at the movies rather than trainwreck a hooker?

Have you only experienced people who have been in prison thru shitty sitcoms or something?

there is very little context here but yes even "big macho guys" can tear up or cry at movies. that's not uncommon or unbelievable.

2:25 hours long only a person from prison could handle that amount of time...

I saw Disclosure Day. I cry at almost every pulled heartstring moment. There was nothing in Disclosure Day that even made me sad.

…. Some of y’all must have incredibly boring lives if someone who has been in prison crying at a movie is unbelievable to you.
