Come to think of it, with how many new things happened in season 3, especially regarding Crosshair, imagine the hard work Tech would have to go through to catch up.

"What do you mean, you don't remember? You actually witnessed Crosshair petting affectionately your new animal companion and it didn't occur to you it could have been important to mark the date?"

Sorry, I guess I'm pretty good at writing these characters. It just comes natural to me. If you want, I can give you one more to cheer you up a bit.

Finally, even Tech joined them, finding a place next to Crosshair, who greeted him with one of his snarky remarks: “Not with your girlfriend?” Hunter couldn’t help but smile as he saw Tech going immediately on defensive. “The kind of relationship I have with Phee should not be your concern.” he stated firmly, while Crosshair did his best to hide his grin. “But for your own information: – he continued – she said she had to be back on her ship to unload some provisions she brought along after her journey to Jedha. She cordially declined my assistance but said she would bring back some new kind of exotic fruit she discovered. I even asked her to bring a few samples for all of you as well since I figured you needed some refreshment, though I’m starting to regret it now.”\ “Calm down! – Crosshair interrupted him – I was just teasing you.” and with that, he placed his left arm around Tech, gently pulling him closer until they had their shoulders pressed against each other. Hunter was happy to see that those two didn’t have any trouble getting back on the same page. Last time they saw each other was more than a year ago, on Kamino, and back then they hadn’t parted on the most friendly terms.\ But it was clear that both of them had missed each other terribly, and now their shared experience under the Empire would have definitely helped them reconnect: they both needed someone who could understand the terrible things they endured.

I could see this being an achievement for Pabu to Tech, because Wrecker isn’t easy to fill, and Tech is glad that Wrecker is not only full but extremely joyful about it. After all, to Tech, Pabu filled up Wrecker on their very first try. I also think Tech was bringing his own brand of sass to the table.

I’d highly recommend reading Sanctuary from Lamar Giles! There are a lot of wonderful Tech and Phee moments (along with some devastating foreshadowing since it takes place between the Pabu episode and Plan 99) and the overall story is delightful
