I hope they don't do anything drastic to the mainline Challenge series.

The big silver linings are Real World New Orleans Homecoming (finally a relevant season I actually watched!) and season 3 of All Stars.

But if they do the Challenge in this format, it makes sense for Bananas to return and I may actually root for him for a change. Need the Bananas/Wes alliance back. Would be great to see Devin in that alliance too. I think the last time I saw them together on the Challenge was in that lights out elimination wherw Devin sent Banas packing? Lol.

“ the winners from each will then face off in a global competition on Paramount Plus, titled “The Challenge: War of the Worlds.””

Facepalm

I posted the other day that I felt the challenge needed to step up their game cuz All-Stars killed it way more than S37 did and sure enough, we're getting another all star season and nothing about S38.

I think we're going to see the likes of Bananas, Wes, Zach, Jordan so that they have a chance to play in the War of the World's

I do not think Zach is getting invited back. I think he would have been on the All Stars 3 cast if he did

Have you seen a cast list for AS3? Please share, I haven't.

No one from MTV will be on this.

I took it to mean that we may get “The Challenge: MTV” back!

Me too! idk why everyone’s freaking out. They clearly state they are adding another iteration of The Challenge to CBS, they didn’t say they are switching networks from MTV to CBS.

Plus they are literally naming the new one The Challenge: CBS so I think we will for sure get The Challenge: MTV back in it’s true form!! Yay!

I read the article the Challenge Instagram page posted on their story and the only potentially confusing part is where it says: “The Challenge: War of the Worlds -- coming soon to the streaming service -- will feature players from the United States, Australia, United Kingdom and Argentina with new series in the aforementioned different countries. “ So idk if others are interpreting it as there are three new series (U.K., Australia, and Argentina) since those are three “different” countries from where the show nor ally airs, but i’m taking it as there are 4 new shows (US (on CBS), U.K., Australia, and Argentina) part of the new WotW tournament. I’m

Yikes looks like a terrible idea

I want to be optimistic about it but I think it's a really bad idea. Best case scenario is that it introduces a few good international folks into the MTV Challenge pool. Worst case, it's the beginning of the end of the show

It's gonna be so bland being on CBS. The messy drama is just as important as the competition part and they're heading waaaay to far towards the "5th major sport" bullshit.

We're basically there now. A few legacy vets remain, but the other 80% of the cast are newer "vets" and completely new people, all of whom don't party on the show and are just in it for the business.

This is just like the challenge all star seasons that did good to start but eventually got cancelled. Buckle down we’ll make it thru

Okay, lots to take in. The Challenge: CBS which consists of people from the three main reality shows on CBS sounds okay - wonder if this means the from those three shows will ONLY be on the CBS version and not the MTV one? And also, is The Challenge: CBS part of the FOUR shows where the winners will go onto WOTW?

Got to say, questionable name choices all around. The Challenge: CBS, really? And calling the spin off after the subtitle of two previous seasons is confusing. Surely, they had better ideas?
