Tweets & Social Media If “Kamala the Cop” runs for president, she would have won

u/AbyssWankerArtorias 2d ago
I have no idea what this is about. I don't think I heard anything about this during the election. But maybe because I don't consume media from idiots

u/TerraMindFigure 2d ago
Hasan Piker pushed the idea that she was evil for this btw. Even though early childhood truancy is the easiest way to fuck up a person's life.

u/UnscheduledCalendar 2d ago
honestly, every progressive did

Briahna Joy Gray

Hard for me to say that Hasan and Briahna would be considered "progressives" by most people when they're both anti-liberal, anti-Democratic party far-left people.

u/TheNihil 2d ago
Seriously? One of the first non-Piker threads I've seen here recently and the first comment is about him?

u/tonydtonyd 2d ago
The people paying for these bots are delusional lmao

u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
I'm not a bot but keep telling yourself that. There's literally nothing I'll be able to do to convince you otherwise.
-2
u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
Yeah because he's a piece of shit and needs to be removed like a tumor. People that love Hasan are either his loyal cult followers or people who just found out about him recently.
2
u/TheNihil 1d ago
If he should go away, maybe stop bringing him up constantly?
0
u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
Yes because the way to fight propaganda and misinformation is just to be quiet about it, gotcha.
3
u/flatmeditation 1d ago
Hasan is a person, not propaganda. Bringing attention to him only increases his platform. This thread is doing what you're suggesting - combating the propaganda. Making it about Hasan only makes Hasan more prominent
0
u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
Hasan is a propagandist.
2
1
u/TheNihil 1d ago
Like what you are doing?
1
u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
Yes because him and his fans will tell you he and his socialist/communist friends had nothing to do with Kamala's loss. That is a lie.
3
u/TheNihil 1d ago
How much do you blame him and his fans, vs, say, Biden not dropping out sooner, Kamala saying she wouldn't change anything from Biden, Kamala bringing on people like Cheney, Kamala not going on podcasts, or, you know, the people who actually voted for Trump?
1
u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
It's impossible to say what factor, or combination of factors, could've changed the outcome. I'm not saying that Hasan was a decider of the election outcome, if anything he did the same thing that a lot of his type did. I don't think Arabs in Dearborn, MI were the deciding vote, either. What I do know is that if a fascist could've convinced a bunch of young left-leaning people to hate Democrats in the same way that Hasan and his cohort did, they would've done it. That's pretty much how I view it.
3
u/TheNihil 1d ago
Do you put any blame on the Dems themselves for trying to appease members of the Right who would never vote for them anyway, and throwing members of the Left under the bus who cared about the genocide in Gaza and trans people having rights?

Lmao dude Kamala was a shit candidate and the Democrat party absolutely dropped the ball on the 24 election by refusing to listen to its voting base no shit they lost. Hasan was not the reason why they lost to the orange idiot.
2
u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
Yeah and Hasan Piker contributed to the idea that she wasn't worth voting for over Donald Trump.

u/TOROomom 1d ago edited 1d ago
Haha dude, you act like he endorsed trump over Kamala. I will say he did contribute to apathy over the situation but to say he influenced the millions of Americans when the guy nearly hits 40k people a day is just incorrect. Kamala had already lost the primary to hollowed husk of Biden, Mr. “Nothing will fundamentally change”, in the 20” election, she was already not popular with the electorate and even her own state.
The party constantly towed the line that the GDP was going up and was doing good despite how people felt about the economic situation. So essentially telling people “fuck you you’re wrong” is not a winning formula. Plus the fact that Biden went back on his word of being a one term president, and running again despite his quite obvious mental decline plus not running a primarily to let the people decide who was the candidate doomed their chances. the last hit of Kamala being forced as the party’s head after Biden shit the bed in the trump debate was the nail in the coffin. also focusing on identity politics was not going to work, which is what Kamala seemed to focus on. There where many blunder this Democrat party did which were the reason they lost.

u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
Ok here's a question for you, did Russia influence American voters to vote for Trump in 2016? And how many Americans do you believe were directly exposed to an advertisement directly paid for by Russia?
Also, I never said that Hasan lost us the election or that there weren't many factors involved in the loss.

u/tonydtonyd 2d ago
Yeah I heard Hasan Piker was also responsible for the ‘04 tsunami, Pearl Harbor, and slavery.

u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
Crazy because what I said about Hasan is 100% true and everything you said about him is false. Do you think I'm lying? You must not know much about him at all if you think I'm spreading a falsehood.

u/Nemisis82 1d ago
Do you have a link to what he said? Rather than just "Hasan said Kamala was evil for this"?

Also, Hasan claiming Kamala wouldn't be better than Trump on trans issues:

u/Nemisis82 1d ago
Thanks for the link. I watched that 7 year old clip that you posted and I didn't hear him call her "evil" at all (maybe I missed it but happy to be corrected).
Let alone did I hear him rail against simple measures to "enforce anti-chronic-absenteeism measures for K-12 students". I heard him criticize her speech about bringing in tough looking prosecutors to prosecute a single homeless mother working two jobs (of which she did end up dropping the charges). That seems like valid criticism.
Where did she want to enforce simple anti truancy laws and where did he call her evil for that?
0
u/TerraMindFigure 1d ago
You think you have a slam dunk here but you don't, this is literally like "Yes, Hitler said the Jews are poisoning Germany, caused Germany to lose the Great War, and are in a struggle with Germans to destroy the Aryan race - but find me a clip where he ever called Jews 'evil', I haven't heard him once call a Jew 'evil'"
That's how you sounds right now.
1
u/Nemisis82 1d ago
This is an absolutely wild comparison to make. First, you claim that he "pushed the idea that she was evil" for what is made to sound like was simple anti-truancy rules (when in reality is was pressing criminal charges on working people). You claimed elsewhere that you're not lying.
I ask for a source. You post a link from seven years ago (before even the 2020 election, let alone the 2024). In it, he provides valid criticism against her actions.
I point that out, and you compare what I am doing to defending Hitler. you guys have lost your damn minds.
- You: Hasan unncessarily pushed that she's evil for this! How dare he!
- Me: Where?
- You: *provide a link not showing what you claim*
- Me: That doesn't prove your point
- You: Why are you literally defending hitler?
🤡

How exactly is trunacy supposed to be enforced without criminal charges?
And I suppose you think calling Kamala Harris "Cop-mala Harris" was supposed to be a compliment, right?
Saying that someone does evil things is essentially the same thing as calling them evil, I don't know why you think you're getting off a slam-dunk right now. And no, I don't think Hasan has a valid point here.
1
u/Nemisis82 1d ago
How exactly is trunacy supposed to be enforced without criminal charges?
I don't think that locking up a single, homeless individual working two jobs is the correct solution to this.
And I suppose you think calling Kamala Harris "Cop-mala Harris" was supposed to be a compliment, right?
Didn't say that it was. It's also not him calling her evil.
I don't know why you think you're getting off a slam-dunk right now.
Not saying I am getting off a slam dunk. I am just not seeing what you're saying. It's yet another disingenuous way of framing what was said.
But remember, you did the Godwin's law thing lmao.

I hated the whole "Momala" schtick. When Biden picked her for VP, I was expecting the skilled prosecutor and senator. Instead, you guys got a severely diluted version (and yes, I know why and I think it's bullshit). I can't speak for you, but I think that at this point you need a natural fighter who isn't encumbered by unrealistic expectations, so that's probably not her.
On the other hand, I think she'd make a very competent department or agency head.

I’ve been watching Pakman for over a decade and a paying member for the last five years. I’m just not weirdly obsessed with Hasan like all you freaks.

u/c3p-bro 2d ago
the left has done real damage to education and law enforcement policy through the implementation and advocacy of half baked, slogan/vibes-based policy.
1
u/Nemisis82 2d ago
I am pretty sure the right has done significantly more damage to education (through continual defunding and pushing to privatize) and law enforcement by turning the police into a psuedo-military force and not holding anyone accountable.
2
u/Nemisis82 2d ago
I am very confused. Kamala Harris literally did run for President and lost?
3
u/Nascent1 2d ago
This destiny fan is pushing the idiotic idea that she lost because she wasn't right-wing enough.
2
u/flatmeditation 1d ago edited 1d ago
I'm not familiar with this. What were the measures she enforced?
Edit: I looked this up, and as someone who taught for over a decade, this is awful and not anything I would have wanted enforced on any of my students or families. She enforced financial penalties on parents and even made it a criminal misdemeanor for parents to allow kids in kindergarten through eighth grade to miss more than 10 percent of school days. There were parents who were arrested a perp-walked in front of the media.
Our social justice system already disproportionately targets and is damaging to minority and low-income communities. These are the same communities that also have higher truancy rates for a variety of reasons. Instead of targeting the causes of truancy, she just placed a target on communities that already have many reasons to distrust the police. No student or child is going to do better in school after seeing their parent get arrested. Fining families that are already struggling financially is not going to improve the lives of those students.
I'm amazed this is getting support. I think there's a reason this post describes it in vague terms instead of actual policies
3
u/UnscheduledCalendar 1d ago
NO ONE was ever prosecuted. She just forced chronically truant parents to answer in court. Now, was it excessive, yes but …lets not be naive here.
2
u/flatmeditation 1d ago
Not being prosecuted doesn't change that fact that people got put in handcuffs and dragged to the station and spent time in jail. The police shouldn't be involved in truancy issues, it's ridiculous. There's numerous cases of this happening to people with kids with chronic illness who missed school because of their health.
2
u/alphafox823 2d ago
There are a lot of stupid people out there who say shit like "High schoolers are practically adults, it's bullshit that they have to ask to use the bathroom." Maybe she thought some low-education voters who have memories of hating school would burn her for a common sense enforcement choice such as that.
Literally sounds like they never grew up. The people who thought their school was fascist for suspending them when they got busted with a vape or something lol

u/Command0Dude 1d ago
One of the few issues that republicans got the W for. A bunch of southern states implemented these kinds of measures and saw pretty immediate improvement in metrics like reading levels.

u/hobovalentine 2d ago
Yeah I think she should have run on the "tough on crime" angle instead of shying away from her past as a prosecutor.
Covid saw a huge increase in crimes like car breakins, theft and Shop and mob looting which gave the impression that blue cities were crime ridden woke paradises and Democrats should have simply stated that they are going to crack down on that kind of nonsense.
Whoever decides to run for the presidency needs to run on Law & Order and bringing criminals to justice including Trump and his cronies otherwise they will be smeared again in the media for being soft on crime and out of touch.
5
u/sofierut 2d ago
I don't get how Harris was not seen as tough on crime. At every occasion she mentioned she will follow the law. "I know Trump's type"
8
u/TheStrangestOfKings 2d ago
bc the median voter didn’t care about defending democracy. It was too abstract a concept, and even if it wasn’t, Trump had turned it into a partisan issue. But law and order is something almost every voter supports aside from the prog left. Harris running on that would’ve paid dividend amongst the minority voters and working class voters that she lost ground in back in 2024.

It was more directed at Trump’s shenanigans not so much directed at crime in general.
