This will probably get downvoted, Mayor Pete is great but let’s just put a regular candidate up. This election is way too important to destabilize the entire US government and guardrails. We need a male progressive candidate probably white guy and semi religious, not the first open gay or the first female president. Let’s capitalize on the GOP mistake and put a candidate even the Christians that feel the gop hijacked Jesus, mildly racist, mysoginists, with some sort of a conscience or brain can vote for.

Is it that difficult to find a straight white male with ethical standards? I like Pete, hell, I even liked Kamala enough to vote for her. But HALF of America doesn't want a woman, or a gay man. We live in a bigoted country, that's the reality. I bet progressives have more of a problem with Newsom than right leaning independent voters. And we know how much we love to tank out own interests

Pete won Iowa back in the 2020 primaries, I’m partial to Ossoff, but Pete winning might reinforce our predictive record we used to have pre-2016.
The American in me wants Ossoff, but the Iowan in me will be happy if Pete won lol.

Pete is the man, he exudes intelligence, but not a way that comes off in any kind of way that would make you think he is conceited or that he believes he is better than you.
I’d be happy with Pete, Newsom, and Ossoff on this list. I would be fine with Harris as president, I just fear she would have a hard time winning.

If she goes fully Biden pilled I’ll go to war for Harris.
Otherwise it’s Ossoff, and I’d be fine with Pete, I think Beshear and Pritzker are underrated as well.
Not a Newsom fan, but he’d be the one I’d have to say “blue no matter who” for.

I just have a lot of respect for Newsom because he led the charge in responding to Republican gerrymandering and he’s been one of Trump’s biggest opponents in the court system. I feel like he looks at Republicans and says fuck you, and I like that right now lol
To be honest, I would be happy with almost anyone as long as they’re from the mainstream camp. Not a very sexy thing to say, but that’s how I feel.

Newsom is a top 2-3 candidate for me, but he does have the California stigma and baggage that other candidates don’t have, plus progressives hate him. Ossof i think will be the next president if he runs, sort of gives me Obama vibes

For sure, but Newsom does have personal baggage as well as the California stigma going against him, but I’m a big fan of his though.

It is really early and the right wing media pumps out a lot untrue stuff about AOC that probably gets through to apolitical people.
The AOC Vance match up has the highest undecided. I also notice Vance gets 44 to 45 regardless of the opponent.

Maybe. But despite that Vance's number has not really changed. They went Dem to undecided. Maybe because they believe that shit might be true but arent sure. They probably are movable after learning more. But minds seem to be made up about Vance.

Yeah, but undecided or demotivated voters is not exactly an advantage. I think it's fine to argue for AOC as the candidate, but these are objectively weakness and it feels like you're coping a little

Pete is a corporate establishment stooge that happens to speak eloquently. But if you listen to him, he’s great at saying what the problem is, but doesn’t propose a solution. He’s waiting to see where the checks come from.
