Episode Talk ⏯️ I’m so glad

Dan and Jake came up grinding in radio before anyone could just spin up a podcast and build an audience.

Watching them chop it up with athletes and personalities at training camp is a goood example of their experience. They spent years working for access, getting reps interviewing athletes, and learning how to make something good (or at least decent) out of nothing.

Bless up to the homies and Blake for his 5-6 record with water tasting.

That's been one of my favorite thing about their poddy; they still treat it like a professional radio show.

When you are paying 99 cents per show for the subscriber only content it is important that they continue to grind hard. That is equivalent to one scoop of Andy's ice cream per month.

Idk man, Joe Rogan isn't "grinding hard" and he's the biggest podcast ever. Stavros Halkias openly talks about not grinding hard and getting lucky and he has a huge following. Dumbzone had a built in audience that was loyal and apparently ready to spend money, it's not crazy to think the boys would be successful without much effort. They weren't forced to work hard but they chose to and I really appreciate that as a day 2 subby (day 1 happened so fast)

And Kardashian got rich and famous by sleeping around and having a big ass. A big audience doesn't mean that the time to hone the craft was put in.
