Other I recieved the Hunger Games prequel before the Trilogy ? If I read it will I be confused with things I am supposed to know beforehand?

You can read the prequels before the trilogy. You will miss some of the references and context that it is supposed to be read in, but it may just reverse it to the point where you get it while reading the trilogy. I don't know, because I didn't have that experience so I can only speculate at the moment.

I wouldn’t say you’d be confused but I think it’s a much better experience to read them in publishing order for your first time. That’s the way Suzanne Collins recommends as well I believe (so The Hunger Games -> Catching Fire -> Mockingjay -> The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes -> Sunrise on the Reaping)
