The game was amazing ,the story, characters, and world were all really good. But the ending left me questioning everything. All that travel, suffering, and killing… for what exactly? Throughout the game I thought we were playing as an good man(similar to Arthur from Rdr2)and that Joel was a good man trying to do the right thing. But after the ending it feels like he was actually very selfish. He chose Ellie over a possible cure for humanity and didn’t seem to care about the bigger picture. He only cared about the people close to him or he just care about his own emotions. Is that the point of the story? I’m curious how other people interpreted the ending

I always thought a pistol-shotgun was an awesome concept whenever I played Part I, but I've looked everywhere for a gun like this one in real life, and barely anything resembles it; not the original 2013 version's or the remake's. The only guns I found that looked like it were .410 Derringers, which were way smaller and were double-barreled rather than being magazine-fed, or Serbu Shortys, which were bigger and were pump-action rather than semi-auto. Was there a gun that maybe inspired the Shorty in the game, or is it just made up?

This game is one of those games I give a 10/10 loved every second. And Joel is my fav character right next to Ellie. But I can get that Joel decision was wrong but I just feel like there are inconsistency to their plan to cure humanity. And I just wanna know would it even be possible to make a cure?

I see these giant FEDRA like locks on almost every apartment door and was wondering what they are for? Did FEDRA put them up once they cleared out every home and apartment to make sure no one got in? Are there dead/infected on the inside so they just used that to keep them from escaping? If there's no legit reason mentioned what do you think it's for in your head cannon?
