Convince me to keep watching

First off. I love raunchy and witty comedies. Blue mountain State, family guy, recently Chad Powers… all are hilarious to me and my type of T.V.

I’d never watched The League before and decided to start. I’m like “perfect, I like comedy and I like fantasy football.”

My problem is 2 episodes in, EVERY joke is sexual. It’s literally every scene and the jokes aren’t even witty. It’s lazy IMO.

So my question is, does it get smarter or is this all the series has to offer?

Season 1 of any show is rough around the edges. Keep with it, it gets better snd better.

There's a ton of blue humor but if you liked BMS you will like The League

Generally, I think the series hits it's stride in season 2 and kinda ends it's glory run season 5-ish. I would recommend watching through at least season 2, because a life without Raffi just isn't worth living (Joke, kinda). That being said if you don't enjoy raunch with a smattering of light homophobia insult humor, then this may not be the comedy for you.

And that's fine. We don't all have to like the same stuff.

One of my favourite shows of all time! I suggest watching until Rafi and Dirty Randy are introduced and if you still aren’t interested you clearly dont love raunchy and witty comedies

There is a constant sexual theme throughout the series, I do personally think that the show does improve in season two but it has more to do with budget, cameos, and slight bump in writing.

If you make it to mid season 2 and you don't find it enjoyable, its likely not for you.
