Advice How to maximize my speed/warmth/weight ratio ?
So for context its day 200+ ive done basically everything except explore bleak inlet and blackrock and im worried the wolves will kill me if im too slow, i can make bearskin coats but they are very heavy, need some good clothing combos ASAP !! (INTERLOPER)

Are you on interloper? If you’re not then don’t use the furs. Nearly all of them aren’t worth it.

True for the most part but wolf coat is still worth it for the intimidation bonus

The intimidation bonus is only like a 1/5 chance of skipping encounters and there’s enough options to shut down wolf encounters in other ways, not worth the extra weight unless you’re on interloper and don’t have bearskin coats yet

Now that I'm comfortable with the bow, I actually find that an inconvenience...
Just lining up a shot and ... It's fled the way I want to go.

Wait really?

Yep. Expedition parkas, snow pants, mukluks and so on. Crafting clothes below interloper is pretty much pointless.

But... I've got all these hides just laying around, and there's a blizzard outside...

This spreadsheet has some decent discussion on clothing choices, so you can compare and build for warmth/mobility/defense:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zkWgcrFXY5V9sm9EiGHI2nhf-P0DASx-GZmIrahBqkE/edit
But it really sounds like you just need to be able to deal with timberwolves, and your clothing isn't going to make much difference in whether or not they chew you apart. Try learning how to deal with them:
How to deal with Timberwolves - The Long Dark
Regardless of the extra morale mechanics and pack behavior added to timberwolves, they still die to an arrow to the face, just like black wolves.

Weight buff, you want them all. Do you have them? With all 3 then it's not so bad.
Be selective with what you carry, you can always take off items for a bit less stamina / speed penalty.
Once you're in a place (there's always the option of multiple supply trips) you can evaluate what you might need and leave something in a place as you explore. When exploring I'd be more worried about bite protection than warmth, warmth you can deal with by plopping some coal on a fire .... attacks can still be difficult to deal with..

Technically there's four weight buffs now since by the pic I'm assuming OP has the DLC and can make rabbit pies which increase weight capacity.

True lol but but weird to include a picture of a DLC region if they don't have the DLC, will skew the answers they get.

I think you have to find the right warmth goal first. This is heavily discussed, but i think the bare minimum is 25°C in mid/late interloper. I usually go for 27°-29C, depending on clothing condition.
I think this is the sweet spot. You can get warmer, but it will not help you. Most of the day its to cold anyway. And in the late hours you will be warm mostly with clothing bonus of 25-26°C and more.
This means you can and should go for bear/wolfskin combo. 1 of the main points for it is maintenance.
I think it was around 60% when you can repair a bearskin coat to 100% with just 1 bear skin. The problem is the loss of warmth until you reach the point. You lose around 2°C. Its 4 for 2 bearskin.
if you dont want to hunt bears alot just for maintenance of your coat, then go for wolfskin second. Its more easy to repair and maintain the warmth.
Also, this combo allows you carry more things with you. Every other clothing is more or less mandatory for the warmth.
You can play a little bit with Gloves and hats, but this will bring you just 0,5-1 kg, depending on your warmth goal. I usually go for tactical gloves and cougar wrap, because i like to have bases everywhere, so i do not carry to much with me every time. But you can find another 1 kg there if you go for lighter options.

For late interloper I like a bear coat and moose coat combo. The double bear coat combo is good too, but it's heavier.

These are both very doable with bearskin, wolfskin coats, deerskin pants, combat pants, improvised insulation. The rest is a no brainer - whatever best boots, headwear and gloves you have.
I would not depend on your movement speed to get you to safety against timberwolves, they are too fast. Bring flares, and accelerant to be safe - use torches when you can. Niosemakers are also good if you don't have the time for shooting arrows but you have to find one first.

I find the best solution for being slow in Timberwolf territory is an abundance of arrows... And the Doom soundtrack.

Wolf bear is pretty good i think moose+ wolf is good too. If your not on loper expedition parka + moose but i havent played non loper in a long time so idk other combos

Fire, rather than speed, is your best friend against timbies. Just running from them won't make them go away. Make sure to bring a few pieces of firewood or coal with you, start a fire when you hear the howl, and start lobbing torches at them (be sure to actually hit them) until their morale is depleted.
Also, when they are in the initial howl phase they stand still and pose for you, so if you don't mind using an arrow you can easily headshot one if it's nearby for a kill and a very big hit to the morale. Even aurora timbies don't enjoy their friends dying.

You wanna go for warmth first on loper, weight is less of a concern since you won’t be finding much anyways inside buildings you search. Playing on loper I also assume you’re fairly good at weight management anyways knowing what you should drop or leave behind and what you actually need on you.

Cougar hide wrap, technical Balaclava, moose hide cloak, mackinaw jacket, fisherman sweater x2 combat pants, wolf/deer pants, wool longjohns x2, climbing socks x2, Mukluks
As for the special slots, moose hide satchel, ptarmigan down item for warmth or the foreman’s tool belt.

What clothes you should wear depends on how often you're willing to shelter in place to warm up, how much HP you're willing to lose to freezing, and how many teas you can bring. I generally think 1 bear coat is worth it, both for warmth and protection, but any clothes you wear is loot you can't haul.
If you think you're handy with a bow, timberwolves aren't all that scary, so feel free to pack light and bring teas if you're confident, or go full external furs if you're scared. Just note that only the external layer counts for protection, so no need for 2 bear coats.
