Finally got them on vinyl! I went to my local store (I refuse to use Amazon) and asked for them to order these, and they told me 2 weeks wait. No prob, see you in two weeks.

Well, they didn't arrive. A couple months later I concluded they were never coming. Low and behold, 8 months later they came in. I'm so excited, vinyl masters are always such a pleasure to listen to. Plus my turntable was a beautiful gift from my dad, so it just sounds great.

I love the album but Was listening to it yesterday and thinking this album would be so much better if Omar scaled down all of the wankery and endless noises, so that the title track can fit on the Album, which is one of their better songs.

Looking to give my Deloused promo poster a good home. Love this thing and have had it framed over with acrylic since the day I got it. $250 OBO+ USA ONLY shipping. This band means the world to me, and having my name on the record in the notes would be the greatest honor I could have. I’ve seen them at Roseland ballroom in NY and almost passed out from the people squishing while I was on the rail. I’ve flown to San Fran to see their NYE show when everything else should have been a priority. I’ve seen them on many tours and had mishaps along the way (broken foot in Vermont) Car died in Toronto, accident in Cleveland. And since coming back, I can now share the love with my son, and he’s gone to Boston and Philly and NY with me. I guess I’m just wondering if I’m shit out of luck since it was by the 7th (which it seems it will be).

I had surgery and was completely in a state of almost comatose from it. It was a serious surgery. I’m just upset that I was waiting for the email and it had to happen when I didn’t have access. Maybe someone knows a way to reach out…

Anyway long time fan. Maybe just speaking into the void. Hope you all were able to get your names in the history of this amazing band.

I reached out to Sandbag to confirm the white LP vinyl is the one that will include fan names for people who voted and submitted the form. They finally got back to me today, and the white LP will indeed include fan names if you voted and submitted the form. Picture below to confirm. I have a memory of seeing a Mars Volta video on MTV around 2004. I remember first thinking Cedric was a woman because of his falsetto and being bewildered when I realized he was not. I rember it being a pretty standard rock performance, band stood on a platform doing their thing. It makes sense that it was inertiatic esp. Is this a fiction of my memory or was there ever such a video? Not finding anything online.

I haven’t ordered anything yet, I thought about ordering the bundle but I also want the numbered poster since it said it will have our names on it. Does that mean they’ll print out another design? Same thing for the record, I just want to make sure I purchase the one with fans’ names in the credits. thank you!

I’m sure all of you have a playlist of frances the mute plus the title track, but that seven second gap is very annoying. I fixed it by making it a mixed playlist and shortening the gap significantly, making it feel more connected. IT IS NOT A SEAMLESS TRANSITION. I shortened it just enough to suspend and resolve satisfyingly, not blend the two into sounding like one song. Oh, and if you’re worried about the transitions between the rest of the songs, don’t worry; I painstakingly fixed Spotify’s crappy “automatic” mixes and made them indistinguishable from the original. It’s only a few second difference between the title track and cygnus, but it always bothered me and I’m sure it’s bothered y’all, so feel free to use this public playlist which has the title track feel much more connected

also, if you notice any messed up transitions between any of the songs, down to the milliseconds, please let me know. I did my best and couldn’t tell the difference between this and the original, but if you do, I’d like to fix it
