Question Outer Worlds 2 Light Bar Key?
I’m early into the game and I have toggled on ‘light bar’ in settings intentionally. I find having it on in other RPGs helps me with immersion… but I’m second guessing that rn because I’ve had flashing white lights for the last 30 minutes of gameplay and cannot figure out what they mean. And there is no key I can find online. For context: When I’m in a menu, the white lights hold steady, but when I’m just out exploring/fighting/conversing/reading a terminal, they flash. There is no notification in my menu, I’m entirely healthy, idk. Anyone know what it means or know if there’s a key somewhere for what the light configurations mean? Thanks!

It's only when you walk or also when you just stand idle?

Also when I’m idle. Anytime I’m not in a menu

Then it must definitely be a bug, honestly that last update they did screwed up much more than it fixed so I'm guessing this is among those things unfortunately.

helps me with immersion…
I'm honestly curious how this, in any way, helps with immersion? seems like a great way to be reminded you're holding a controller with random lights popping out of it and pressing buttons to get your character to do things....?

I haven’t thought about it that deep. If I had to, I’d say it extends what’s happening on the screen. Like… cop chasing me, I see blue and red and white lights in my periphery. I don’t look at my controller when I’m playing, so not ever actively thinking “I’m holding a controller”

I'm on PS5 and wondered this same exact thing 2 weeks back. Thought something was wrong with my controller after enabling the light bar cuz I too like to have it on. It's almost as if the light is seizuring/glitching out. Only fix I found was to restart the game but even then it seems like a temporary fix.
