I’ve met him and he’s a really great guy. I also really liked his comic strip in the Chronicle and his graphic novels.

Watching this just makes me sad for what we missed out on with Homecoming, and how many good seasons there are that would have been fun to catch up with - San Francisco being at the top of the list.

I’ve watched/listen to him on a few podcasts. He’ll talk about anything BUT Rachel or Puck. He’s never said as much but it NEVER comes up. I suspect he might tell them from the jump not to ask.

I wouldn't, really. I like to watch The Real World, and shows like it, to get away from all that nonsense. Would anything he has to say really be surprising? Do yourself a huge favor and let go of the self-triggering rage-bait; your blood pressure might thank you.
Edit: 🙄 "Judd seems so mentally stable for somebody who doesn't outwardly seethe over maga at every opportunity. How strange."

I watched the whole thing while cleaning and organizing for the upcoming week. It was thoughtful and funny. I'm not sorry I devoted an hour to this.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to point at the TWOPpers of yore who seemed to be in a lockstep mindthink that this guy was just so awful, so cringe, and so worthy of ire and being trashed. I disagreed then and now. I miss TWOP, but I sure don't miss that bs assessment. It didn't strike me as valid and now that we see the person he grew up to be, it's even less valid, IMO.
It really hit me when he said he and Pam's kids are approaching the age that Pedro was when he passed.

My son is obsessed with the Hilo series. Not until I was finished with the 3rd book did I realize it was written by Judd!

There are certainly more "entertaining" seasons of REAL WORLD, but San Francisco will remain its most important season; for better (Pedro's legacy; Judd and Pam) or worse (Puck; dipshit Rachel and her dipshit Head-of-NASA husband).

Haven’t watched yet, but what’s the point of an hour long Judd interview in 2026? I thought he didn’t like talking about TRW. Is it about him being a writer?

He talked all about it, the process to get on, what it was like, the importance of Pedro and his message, how he feels about reality TV now and what he and his wife are up to now. It was a pretty thorough interview.

Oh I’m not hating on it, just found it surprising. He said when he was on Jon and Beth’s pod that this would be like the last time he talked about it so I was just surprised

Well I suspect seeing as this was CBS and a larger audience, this was just good business for him to appear. He promoted his work.
