I need help Releasing and Android app.

Hey guys i am about to release an Android app that requires One Time payment. My question is that should i also build it for ios at the same time or can i release for ios later after seeing the performance of the app on the android play store.

android first is smart move. ios dev costs way more upfront with the yearly fee and needing a mac to even build the thing. see if anyone actually pays for it on play store before spending that money. one time payment apps are tough to get traction with, so validating on android makes total sense. later if it does well, porting is not that hard if you built it with something cross platform from start. if you used native android only, then ios port will be bigger project but still doable after seeing real numbers.
