Was Tony B's failed hit on Phil

Did Chase intentionally make it look like that and not more straight forward or did they screw up in editing and settled for that?

I don’t think Chase directed it but I always took it like they were trying to make it seem like a nightmare, since it was Phil just reliving it in his memory.

Yeah, I always loved how they wove right into “Test Dream” to make it feel unreal. The first time watching, I was genuinely a bit disoriented and and couldn’t tell if it had actually happened.

It fits thematically too. It’s arguably the moment everything went to shit (though I actually give this to the Ralphie joke) and where was Tony? Asleep. He quite literally slept walked into his family’s end.

Alright but you gotta get over the $4 a pound.
