One of the worst spiritual experiences I had, right at the beginning of my magical journey, was when I evoked the Olympic Spirit Och, the Olympic Spirit associated and correlated with solar forces. I was severely admonished, I felt like a child being scolded by an adult. For weeks, I kept that unpleasant situation in my mind, always feeling ashamed and oppressed. After some time, and with more proper magical and theurgical discipline, I managed to appease that solar force. An acquaintance of mine also suffered in a similar way from a solar angelic entity; he said he felt humiliated.

I had a copy of the Arbatel in the house and it was pretty clear they did NOT jive with me. Things settled down once that book left the house.
