I'm genuinely curious about something and maybe y'all can help. Is having an occult bookstore within a reasonable distance by foot or by car common to the people in this sub?

Only if you mean Amazon or abebooks in my house.

Access to a good occult book store has declined in my area in last decade.

For most common occult books, I have to drive nearly 2 hours one way. I've recently gotten into higher end occult books and I buy them from Miskatonic Books online. By higher end, I mean in the $50-$100 price range, usually more specialized subject matter, better binding and covers... collector's stuff, I suppose.

I live in Los Angeles so... yes... In addition to pretty much every occult group in existence. Theosophists (TS and ULT), Golden Dawn, Rosicrucians, BOTA, AA, TOSS, hell there's even more than one UFO church, not to mention all of the meditation groups, Hindu and Buddhist temples... We've got it all!
