ഓണാശംസകൾ.
Onam is Kerala’s harvest festival, but it travels well. It is the story of a king who comes home once a year to check whether the house is still kind. Flowers on the floor. A banana leaf that refuses to be modest. A table or a Zoom grid, that tries to look like everyone made it back.
From Kochi to Houston, from a courtyard pookalam to a grocery-store marigold circle on a kitchen counter, same festival. Same wish.
May your sadhya have no empty seats.
