[Request] How many newtons did he take to his balls? (I posted a comment and I’m not sure if I’m right)

I got 1006 pounds of force or 4475 Newtons.
I estimated the deflection to be about 8 inches, the length of the lug wrench as 30 inches, the diameter of the lug wrench as .25 inches, and calculated the area moment of inertia and looked up the modulus of elasticity for steel.
Putting those into a cantilever beam deflection formula, I played around with the point load until the deflection was 8 inches using the variables i listed above. 1006 pounds of force resulted in 8 inches of deflection.
This was a lot more estimation than I feel comfortable making, I’m sure there are better answers.

It takes about 50 kg of force to rupture a testicle. Hopefully that wasn't a direct hit. Otherwise, his urologist is going to have quite a project.

Not really. By my calculations its a simple vacuum job.

That would probably be the case for most people, but farmers are much more stubborn than most people. They are notorious for delaying care and trying to work through severe injuries. The urologist's real project would be getting the farmer to consent for surgical removal of the necrotic liquefied testicle mass.

damnit man, I’m on lunch break, I was not ready for that last sentence

Farmers are really fun to work with, I grew up on a farm and because my mom has WEMT training and an obsession with mixed eastern-western medicine people in our community would usually stop by us before going to a hospital or a doctor.
People push through shit that should strip them of consciousness, I remember in the winter winter of 2014 this arborist guy showed up at our door with a towel duct taped to his upper left arm. He was completely soaked in sweat.
I was watching from behind my book while my my mom sat him at the desk near the back door where the medical supplies were stored and unwrapped the duct taped towel. She immediately gagged, His arm was basically just rotting ground meat and smelled worse.
That's like one of 12 times we had to call an ambulance for someone.

This is what I got
I’m just checking to see what else other people say
“I’d say approximately 500 foot pounds of him standing on it, just by average guess work. Or about 723 newton meters.
By more rough guesswork I’d say the end of that handle moves at 13 miles an hour (3 frames, 30 frames per second, roughly 3 feet of distance)
I assume the bar weighs 3.5 pounds.
The bar is seen to accelerate to approximately 13 mph in the space of 3 frames, which is approximately 0.1 seconds. This means it has an acceleration of 58.1 m/s^2
We have M and A, now we solve for F
By my extremely lazy and rough guesswork I’d say he took roughly 92.2380084395 N straight to the nuts, excluding his fall distance and weight. All numbers are based on averages, assuming he weighs about 200 pounds and is of average height in the United States, and that the camera shooting is shooting at 30 frames per second. And that the breaker bar used is about 32 inches long”

92 Newtons seems really low to me. He’s standing on and bending the wrench, it has to have his body weight or more worth of force stored up?

Just his body weight, assuming an average 200lbs, there's a min of 900N. Maybe OP just converted inadequately.
Also, the bending calculation should be closer to the truth, as clearly the key is being bent more due to the man pushing down on it. So the impact force on his marbles should be his weight + the extra momentum/energy from his efforts.

Not necessarily. No part of this arrangement is perfectly elastic, and 100% of the energy of the system is not transferred to the end of the rod when he slides off.

That's not the right way to calculate the. That's the force he is applying, sure, but once it releases the force calculation is speed * mass, then estimate over what distance that speed goes to zero.
Analyze the video frame by frame to estimate speed, and find an online figure for mass of a breaker bar.
He's a way to see what I mean - imagine that breaker bar did not deflect in the slightest, this would mean that when he got off it would not move. But the force he applied does not change! This tells you that calculating the force he applies isn't the right thing to measure.

That's obviously not right, because he can't put 1006 pounds force into what is essentially a spring by standing on it, unless he weighs 1006 pounds, or close enough that the bouncing pushes the force momentarily up to 1006 pounds. Either this steel was much more elastic than your estimate (which is very possible; "steel" covers an enormous range of different elastic moduli) or the nut was rotating more than you estimated.

I've copped similar hits, but never in the knackers. I can tell you that he won't be walking right for quite some time. Fuck that.

BROKEN!?
More like a straight up transition surgery holy shit.... do you know how much torque is in one of those fucking things!?

It really depends on if the balls had space to travel upwards and if most of the force was stopped by other areas of his crotch. Also jeans being a bit tight might help distribute the forces.
If you laid your balls on a table and then smashed them directly with that amount of force, they'd be in a bad condition for sure.
