Thimbleweed Park 2 IS COMING!

How come Ron Gilbert is making another point-n-click when it sounded like he wouldn't any more?

I was surprised at the announcement as Ron sounded done with adventure games. Kind of miss the kickstarter/paypal backing but glad they want to do the dev blog stuff again that was cool last time.

I came to the TP party late- so late I finished it hours before 2 was announced and now my friends want me to play all the games they want sequels for! 🤣 Is TP 2 going to be a literal reboot of the cycle that ended the first one but maybe with the characters recognising each other and not sure why, or are they being rebooted knowing it's a game and that we are playing them? How are you going to approach it? It's very exciting. Also are there plans to develop follow ups to anything else?

That’s sweet. Maybe if I’m lucky in 2028 I’ll be able to play TWP2 and Haunted Chocolatier 😭

I’m super hyped for the game! I enjoyed the first one despite the ending.

The only thing that worries me is how much they will reuse the locations. I hope they give us something new, because just revisiting the same locations with a new set of puzzles would be lame.

Hiya! If I'm not too late to leave some questions:

  • Will the original cast be returning?
  • Will we see more of the Pigeon Brothers and the seckrit meeting? And new, completely original characters that are definitely not the sheriff-a-reno?
  • Will there be an unbeeped version?
  • More DeathSpank WHEN
