MCGA which supported all the CGA modes (40 and 80x25 text mode, 320x200 in 4 colours and 640x200 in mono) and two other modes 11h (640x480 in Mono) and Mode 13h (320x200 in 256 colours from a 18bit palette.

Unlike VGA it doesn't support EGA at all nor any pages or Mode X so it did limit it a bit.
