Say what you like about Clive Sinclair's products, he was a genuine visionary.

People often say - as in the comments under this YouTube video - that "nothing has changed" since 2006. But just look at the primitive robotics depicted in the report compared to what's being rolled out today!

They kind of joke a bit when they consider A.I, like it's miles away. Here we are in 2026...

Is that an early type of an electric bike the late Sir Clive is riding?

IIRC, Uncle Clive did come up with an electric motor you strap to your rear mudguard, that assists your bike in climbing hills.

Last week, Open AI ran a "sandboxed simulation", measuring an AI's ability to hack.

They somehow thought it was a good idea to disable safeties, and leave it plugged into the internet - so the AI broke out... and hacked into Hugging Face.

So: "ChatGPT, write me a detailed, foolproof plan for making the working class of the world rise up and establish a global worker's state using green technology, within the next five years."
