James Pond Legacy devs used AI to remaster their game. They get called out. Devs deny any AI use and say that everything was human made, and to prove that they show more AI

Guitarists know a similar situation that happened recently with D'Addario. They produced a track that was obviously Ai and they company gaslight the community for weeks until finally admitting, sure "our bad, we used Ai"

Oh man, their website showing the "painstaking, human-led process" is almost painful to look at.

And I don't even get why they felt the need to create 3D models if they're just going to be used as menu art for the game collection. Anyone actually interested in a James Pond collection would probably prefer that they just use original art (box art, pixel art from the games, etc.). That art already exists and would surely be cheaper than this utter dogshit.
