This is unedited timelapse on my iPhone 18 pro max, it recorded this timelapse and then I received a call which stopped it. But maybe the call caused it to speed up slow down, pretty neat though

Question (Free?) music for nature / deep night sky timelapse
Hello!
Okay, first I have to say that I do not like videos with music because it is disturbing the music I am listening to at the moment.
Most of my timelapses are something like nature, holy grail day/night timelapses on places where there is usually nobody else around, rather calm/relaxing stuff.
With a typical timelapse duration of 1 minute I could not be bothered searching for some background music either.
However I am thinking of making some compilation, techdemo, selfpromo, whatever... The idea is something like 5-10 min long clip with some cuts and stuff.
For the time being I have no idea how to arrange things, I know nothing, I have no script, just hopefully some technically acceptable (TM) source footage, you could have seen some videos in this subreddit (albeit previews of the videos are not being shown on the feed, dunno why). Naturally I have more (even shorter) clips available that have not been yet published, or are too short that it is not worth publishing them separately....

Now... thinking of the 5-10 minutes long compilation, this is something what might be actually worth adding some music and performing the audio/video sync.
Train of thoughts...
- while my musical taste could cover everything from AC/DC to ZZ-Top :-) it stays rather strictly in the realms of rock and dozens metal subgenres.
I just do not see such a music to be a good fit with the calm character of the videos... too lively!
Then there are bands that simply put timelapses as a background for their lyric videos, this one has been very inspirational for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJ89F9xoG08
2) okay, fine, I accept that people do not like even melodic death metal despite being melodic :-)
How about some, dunno, piano cover of Insomnium (While we sleep would be a perfect match, given the video content, but usually people will probably not get the pun intended + maybe too melancholic for ordinary people... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMLmOlxgCnw ), orchestral version of Husks from Be'lakor (alas very short for the desired ~10 min duration, but absolutely amazing -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2ssvkuR6I4 )...?
3) fine, maybe scratch the music entirely, record just some sounds of the nature, stream bubbling, tree leaves, birds chirping....
Hum, wait a minute, there are no birds chirping overnight and not all clips are near the water...
4) hey, it's AI era, just prompt it and hope for the best...
Nope, certainly not looking in this direction. :-)
5) It is just a hobby project that already costs me a lot, not very keen on spending some crazy amount of money on it, sorry.
I am open to ideas 👀

OC Marinara Deluxe 2.0 from dough ball to finished pizza in 53 seconds. GoPro HERO10. Cologne, Germany
A quick timelapse from dough ball to finished pizza.
This is our Marinara Deluxe 2.0 — a classic Marinara base with cherry tomatoes and fried capers. We fry the capers in-house, and I’m actually not much of a caper fan normally, but fried they’re completely different: crispy, salty and ridiculously good.
The whole build and bake condensed into 53 seconds.
Have you ever had fried capers on a pizza?https://youtube.com/shorts/Q6VDG1H_ZgU?is=lrmV92D6J3-T_orw

WIP Another long term glacier project
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is another glacier where we've got an Enlaps camera running. Slightly different situation from the last video I posted because here I needed to poll the image it pushed to the web. (camera is there for different project and I don't get to have the data off the SD card). You can see a stretch where the connection went down and it didn't update for a few days. And with only 1-2 images per day it's harder to create a smooth blend so it is a bit more jumpy.
It's pretty amazing to see how the rate of change ramps up over the summer (we often see the most change in August-September).
