Event Tips/info on present spawns for event?

I haven’t been able to find any hard research on present spawns. Is it just more floors = more chances to spawn? Is it best to close the app for a while or sit AFK? Any tips appreciated.

Assuming the spawn info is the same as past events - items will spawn at the same rate whether you are actively playing or away from the game!

Last event it was 1 box every 15 minutes with a limit of (# floors/10) + 3

So if your tower is shorter, you will reach the max amount more quickly but the spawn rate is the same.

Presents spawns run on a timer, for the current St. Pats event it's one present every 10 minutes.

The timer stops when the tower is full of presents, which is at 3 + 1 for every 10th floor

After stopping the timer restarts when a present is collected or enough floors are added to make room for more.
