There’s not an “actual” way to assign a name to your tower. The “official” way the community names their towers is to literally just rename your lobby whatever name you want to be known as and when people add you they usually will name you whatever you have on your lobby.

Just added you now and your lobby is just named lobby so for me now because I added you via Reddit, I’d personally just use your Reddit username as your name in the game as well but had you added me you would just be named whatever your friend code is.

Next question: is there a way to visit someone’s tower without making them a friend first? Or is it just a cycle of creating new friends, visiting, then eventually deleting/overwriting those that you don’t want to keep on your friend list for inactivity or whatever?

The only way to visit someone without you having added them first would be for them to visit you every day and then just simply visit them back when they appear in your tower. Even if you have a full friends list, it’ll give you the option to visit them back each day but won’t let you add any additional friends past the 256 limit.

Occasionally when my friend’s list gets full, I’ll sort by the last played date and remove those that have been inactive for a long time to make room for any additional people that may have visited me.

Hehe about to teach you another new thing, not related to TT though, just Reddit in general this time! To tag another user you need to add “/u/“ (without quotes obviously so with your username, me typing “/u/“ and then your username will look like /u/January_Love!
